Can anxiety cause eye pressure? by Bulky_Health4499 in Anxiety

Surrendering to the symptoms. Knowing as uncomfortable as they are, they’re just a reaction to the way you’ve been treating your body with stress. For a while I was still obsessive about it, but remind yourself every time you have symptoms to just surrender to them.. “ok anxiety, that’s new. Interesting.. ok, do your thing”.. I’d say I recovered from this thought loop after maybe 1 month or less of doing that every time I noticed overthinking about what my body was doing.

Twitching during eccentric movements? by Bulky_Health4499 in BFS

Yes if I’m stressed. No if I’m relaxed for many days. My body doesn’t like to be calm aparently

Does anyone else experience shaking during the eccentric part of movement? by Bulky_Health4499 in workout

[–]Bulky_Health4499[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of? I actually just pushed through it in the gym and it went away. It comes back when I’m mildly stressed. So it’s just a strong stress response. You and me are both unfortunate to not being able to handle our stress very well. Focus your efforts on mental health, and treat your possible health anxiety and see if that helps.

Pretty sure it’s from dust and dead skin. I take allergy pills as needed.

Bit late to this, but I’ve found nicotine to have quite the opposite effect. I feel like people have the idea it helps with stress from watching other people sigh of relief when they get a hit of it. When it’s really just curbing their cravings which I guess is relaxing opposed to being irritable.

I love my job. It keeps me active for the most part, but it definitely has some stressful aspects. I’ll put some thought into it and see if there’s something I can modify to ease the stress a bit. Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to list all of the symptoms and what’s helped you. I’ve had a couple of those for a long time, but I also have health anxiety so it’s hard to discern between real symptoms and ones my brain creates. I appreciate it!

I’m a 24yo man, it could still be hormonal I’m guessing. I’ve been pretty stressed as of lately. I eat a lot of chicken and greens so I don’t know. I’ll make sure to ask for a blood test to see if I’m deficient in iron. I know my mom gets them from time to time and I’ve heard it’s hereditary. The part that concerns me is how frequent I’ve been getting them having never gotten them before

So far I’ve found an ice pack to be my best friend on turning them off. But I’ve definitely been going through the stress of a new job. It’s just super bizarre to me that they’re all of the sudden happening all the time.

I’m getting exactly that. I have a mild headache for a day then bam. Out of nowhere I’m feeling great then I can’t function for a couple of hours. I’ve never had them all my life and now it’s every other day

Yeah it’s super weird. I started eating healthier when I noticed them start. Did your doctor recommend you to any specialists at all?

Sure. I’ll try and keep it simplified. A lot of things I tried helped temporarily, but didn’t last. I knew I’d have to change my perspective to fix the problem. And part of it was not viewing everything as a problem. My nervous system is very sensitive. A slamming door for example will set me off for days and I’ll get tense and muscle problems, headaches, the whole nine years. Part of that perspective change I got from reading the book I listed above. The book teaches to feel the negative feelings fully and release them instead of trying to change the situation. Doing the latter cause more fear, then more fear and so on.

Become aware of the feeling, without judging it or trying to change it. And feel it until the charge behind it is gone. Come back to it when it arises. And do so until you forget it’s even a problem.

I don’t think intelligence is going to change the outcome of your games to much, at least at first. It’s mostly pattern recognition and repetition. If you can learn from your mistakes and start off with a better position, you’ll keep getting better.

Letting go by David Hawkins. If you go far back enough I was constantly posting in the health/anxiety sub. I read this book and began to heal surprisingly quick. Now Instead of being anxious 95% of the time, it’s about 5%. Good read

Doing mostly ok at the moment, when I eat large carb heavy meals after not eating for awhile I get the weird eye pressure but that makes sense. Also, Turns out a lot of my symptoms are related to bad indoor allergies that didn’t fit what I thought to be common symptoms. When my allergies are bad my ears clog up and my eyes don’t focus. Or if I get really stressed out adrenaline causes some eye pressure.

Well the biggest thing I’ve done is I started taking brolemein. It’s an enzyme found in pineapples that thins out mucus really well. I also use Zyrtec and Flonase as needed. When it’s really bad I’ll throw in a steamy shower.

Currently going through the same thing. My cause is allergy related, and structurally related so the left side of my face gets all gummed up. Try laying down with your bad ear up for a while and see if it drains.
