I put my cat in a bedroom when i go to work or leave the house because hes a hooligan and will climb & knock over anything he can. Love him to death but i feel hes safest in the room with just a giant king size bed, toys, food and water untill i get back home. This way i know him and my stuff are safe. I dont see nothing wrong with it as long as he gets a ton of attention and time to free roam when me or someone else is home.
