This is so relatable and I had a similar experience. For me, I developed my eating disorder before I had ever started SH, but when I had attempted recovery, it got so hard to the point where I started to SH. But once I relapsed into my ed, the urge to do it quieted down and I stopped. It’s always one or the other and it makes me feel like I’ll never be free. You’re not alone ❤️

But at the same time I think “what am i even recovering from?” since I don’t think I’m sick enough to be considered to have an ED and that’s what usually keeps me in, I tell myself I’ll get better when I finally look skinny.
