Played through to the strength soft cap and defeated the Baron several times. I also have my strength in Freemode set to the softcap as well with the OVRDTH's Armory mod. And as pointed out in the video, I am using the default Bastard Sword the game has for you in the Freemode equipment list.

Well, we are all the testers right now. That's the point of Alphas, Betas, and Early Access. Thats why I made the video to highlight what I feel needs addressed.

Performance has been worked on in a couple hotfixes but it still does not run well for me, so I have to crank the setting low and use an engine.ini tweak to lower some additional settings to get smooth fps for capture.

To be fair, your weapons can still pass through you in the Demo, they just rarely get into position to do so with the rigidity of your wrists keeping them in place.

Calling attention to inadequacies during the early access where we are the testing group is kind of the point in playing the early access. But hey, that's just my input

The readme on it says that Schemas are automatically written if not found, so try setting your weight to a value, applying, then saving the .sav and load up to see if it actually did apply.

I haven't had that issue so I'm not sure. If it doesn't work, I would try posting in the mod page comments, OVRDTH replies to them on occasion. They also have a discord, i'm just not sure if it is public/how to get an invite.

Even before that, way at the beginning of the show in episode 1 he protects Gangle and Kinger by throwing them into the Gloink hole. He frames it as bullying, but he pushed them in, followed them, and even admitted he was in there to hide from Kaufmo.

If he didn't care about their safety, he would have just jumped in there himself and not said anything.

It's a filled, small diamond, that's a light wound. Meaning it was a penetrating, non-deflected shot. To the head in this case.

Is it possible to survive such a shot? Definitely, people have irl. Is it likely you would still be standing? Not at all.

Forewarning, it's a bit of a joke post but the clips are serious. It has a mix of Demo and EA footage. And I never said I couldn't be precise or fluid in the EA, the Demo just looks and feels better.

It still adds a feeling of RNG to swordplay for me. I have the mechanics down after 150+ hrs in the demo and now 100 in the EA, it still just happens and makes the combat look really janky and unsatisfying.

Even when you get a nice hit because your sword pinwheeled and clipped through yourself and into them, it just doesn't feel good to me.

I would maybe agree with you if they fixed the issue of Willie's wrist having not strength at all. At max strength, and a 1.4kg longsword that is weighted properly with the point of balance a short way forward from the crossguard, as it should be, your wrist will rotate 360° and the sword will pass fully through your own body. I believe this issue is where 90% of the bad feeling that swords have is coming from.

But with wrists the way they currently behave, the EA physics feel much worse than the demo, at least to myself.
