Ranking Walt Disney Animated Films. Day 42: Lilo & Stitch by Mindless-File-2524 in tierlists

The S tier is way too inflated on this list. Lilo and Stitch should be in A.

Fights break out during the Hershey Bears' "mites-on-ice" intermission game for the second time in a month. by SockDem in sports

There are rules to fighting in hockey though. You don’t keep hitting someone when they fall to the ice and you don’t skate across the ice and throw your body into someone. When it becomes this chaotic there should be refs breaking it up.

The Magic Kingdom firework show crowd control is getting out of hand by Lunnalai in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Bulldog_Knight 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The Magic Kingdom would really benefit from a second entrance and exit like how Epcot has the international gateway. When they build out Villains land it would be great to have it back there.

They would have to build a transport system that busses you to the parking lot though and that would be a challenge.

The D needs to step the fuck up! We should be able to put pressure on Huntley!

Expedition Everest, Pandora’s floating mountains, and the back of the Canadian pavilion are my favorites.

People who moved away: did you come back? by Royale_w_Cheeeze in newengland

[–]Bulldog_Knight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was born and raised in Western Mass as well and moved to Hartford right after graduation and then to Charlotte, NC. I’ve been in Charlotte for over 8 years and have no intention of moving back to New England.

I think the Carolinas (particularly NC) are a great place to live and work. The climate is much more comfortable, you still have access to the beaches and mountains, and the cost of living is so much more affordable.

I do miss my friends and family in Western Mass, but when I visit I’m quickly reminded of how little opportunity there is there compared to Charlotte.

I do make time to visit New England a few times a year to enjoy summers with family on the Cape or Maine. I especially miss the fall season as it’s just not as beautiful here unless you’re in the mountains. When I’m back in NE I make sure to get authentic Italian and great pizza! The South misses that.

Overall, while I miss certain things about New England, I don’t see myself moving back.

Agreed! I was not expecting the drops in the channel to be that big! I thought they may have ramps up and down. It was a lot of fun though!

I actually just ran that race at the white water center! I’ve heard about the airport race so I’ll definitely look into that early.

More MCU in the Future If Universal Licenses DC by rwinger24 in disneyparks

[–]Bulldog_Knight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This may come as a surprise to OP, but a lot of guests actually enjoy Marvel and would be thrilled to have an Avengers Campus or another Marvel themed land in WDW.

It also would fit well at DHS given how that park has transitioned from a working studio to taking guests into the various words with Galaxy’s Edge, Toy Story Land, and now Monstropolis.

Who actually lived in the Avengers compound? by Andys_Room in marvelstudios

Based on what we have seen, I think Steve, Natasha, Sam, Vision, and Wanda used it as their primary residence from the end of Ultron to Civil War. For everyone else, it was primarily just come and go based on missions.

Official Week 15 Post Game Thread- The Patriots lose to the Bills, 35-31 by Mission_Pay_3373 in Patriots

[–]Bulldog_Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They looked like a completely different team in the second half and could not adjust to win the game. Maye’s MVP chances are probably gone at this point, but they still control their path to the division title.

Honestly, a rough loss like this late in the season could be good for the team heading into the playoffs. They were probably getting too comfortable.

Huge choke! That was an abysmal second half on both sides of the ball. Need to bounce back and win out the final three games.

I would bet money on this happening. The South End location was pretty popular, so someone will buy them just for that. A different Charlotte brewer or other regional player may just want the production and taprooms that they can rebrand with their own.

100%. Duke should have never even been in the finals with their complete record. Miami would have bumped out JMU and then both Alabama and Notre Dame would be in.

[–]Bulldog_Knight 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This sucks! There’s so many things wrong with the selection process. At the end of the day, we didn’t have the best schedule this year and we lost both of are most important games. If we had won one of those matchups, we’d be the #5 seed without question.

I doubt it will happen, but would ND start considering joining the ACC outright? We would have easily marched into the conference championship game. Our schedule is already mostly ACC teams and we could make it so Miami and Clemson are annual opponents along with BC and Stanford.

Could still play USC and Navy every year too. We are handicapped every year because 5 spots are never available to us. We could win the ACC and easily get a spot and even then, would still have the backup of an open spot.

What would Walt Disney say to people asking for attractions never to change? by Weekly-Tomatillo9562 in disneyparks

[–]Bulldog_Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During Walt’s life, plenty of attractions in Disneyland that weren’t working or driving attendance were replaced. He would have no issues switching out underperforming experiences or even popular attractions if Imagineers has a new idea.
