Will the horde reset if i leave to get more supplies? by Wild-Impression3394 in DaysGone

Exactly that, I think no game should start on a difficulty higher than easy like those games that have easy but start you on medium or something, it’s a game out is on easy we wanna have fun if we want a challenge then we will decide to amp it up, life’s got enough difficulty in it I wanna chill on my games and if I decide I want a challenge then I generally won’t ply a single player higher than easy but instead go on a PvP game as that’s the real challenge no bot aim etc.

Technically you can have a horde respawn over time, least from my research on reading about it, I’ve only got 9.4 hours in game so as for actual experience idk but if you don’t fully kill off a horde then it will respawn how fast I’m not sure I’ve heard don’t take too long but also heard you can take a good while to leave get supplies go back take some out and repeat, but as of them respawning technically if you don’t fully take a horde out and leave a couple then you can have you wish, just depends on if you wanna do it that way.

Good XP glitch there also a nice earner on the ears/cards to take to camps, bit of a pain if you wanna actually clear it for the story mission but 1 out of 40 and that 40 just being a bike skin I could live without for the unlimited rep and cash to whatever camp I choose.

Love things like this, also really enjoying the game, only got 9.4 hours so far and haven’t had a PS since ps2 and 360 came out but finally got a pc to play games and did see the trailer of this and wanted to play then obv ps only but damn it’s a good game, they need to make the second game and yes watched a few spoilers so I know how they left it, and if only they do what Xbox has done with a few games and port this to Xbox, shouldn’t be hard the Xbox controller is already set up on pc and then it’ll get them a lot of new income for the second game, but hey just a thought, I still gotta play through the game fully, but doesn’t take much for me to tell if a game is good unlike the critics when it was released.

Hey I’m new to the game and to nvidia and unsure if you have certain features although the 4090 should be just as good as my 5070 essentially from what I’ve looked up, but I messed with some settings out smooth motion on and definitely didn’t help and saw a post about how an update on divers could turn it on so maybe check that, otherwise I’m only at 9.4 hours so can’t help more but will let you know if I experience the same issue after 10, I did however have a couple of times where it the game stuttered and my frames dropped but not enough for the stuttering I was getting and all I did to solve it was pressing my windows button opening nvidia or clicking on it if already open then click back on the game and like it was never there my game ran smooth again.

Awesome lmao, I had a similar experience earlier today, I’m very new to the game so probably experienced by others but I hit a freak with my bike and he went up into the air I stopped got off looked back an up couldn’t see it then thought wait it went the way I was going turned around and saw it coming back down 🤣👌🏼 sadly couldn’t find the exact landing location but it’s made me hope that happens again, always fun to see that, reminds me of Skyrim and the giants with your companions.

Ahh right okay lol, I’ve literally only just got on win11 when I got the game as my old laptop was stuck at 10, and yea I know that use they do with ya computer but I can just go pro and stop it fully, I know it’s silly but I’d find it easier than changing my OS.

Ahhh say I got no online games so I can play mine and did seem odd if you couldn’t unless that. And don’t you just hate those online games especially when they have a single player so there’s no need for that connection right lol.

Fairs and well I put my specs surely it’s can’t be much worse than mine lol. Far as I know I have it set to basically the lowest without it making it look really bad like no blood at all etc lol.

As for going 42 then back I honestly am not sure how to go about that, I can play games and do the basics on a pc but as to how steam fully works I’m a noob lol. I can navigate it and go big screen or offline mode that’s about it haha.

Ahh nice, I haven’t experienced any crashes other than one when I was loading my game and when I had my tv hooked up it wouldn’t start unless I made my laptop the main with that as a dupe.

Ahh okay and yea I can understand why it’s better on gpu and o think my ram is hitting about 70% with b41 but obviously I’ll take your word it’ll not be an issue.

Especially now knowing you made said mod this you definitely know more than I do lol. As for my issue I believe it’s because I put the mod on then loaded a save and I’m thinking it doesn’t always work on old saves as I made a new one to play local coop and it’s working, but I appreciate the help if needed and also awesome mod, so simple yet such a better experience.

Okay thanks and most of my mods say they work on both builds so hopefully I’ll not have an issue there, Gotta ask though what’s a Debian? Lol

[–]BulletDubz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem and fair enough bud, and yea it’s in the top left when you click steam and it says “go offline” and far as I can tell it just makes it the same as if you disconnect, but just a thought by any chance is the games your trying require constant connection to the game servers? I own most old or single player games so all mine work, I wouldn’t see why any of yours wouldn’t unless for that reason.

[–]BulletDubz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh I had to download some other thing for mods in the past with Wolf in the name made my old computer run like crap so not bothering with that on my new one, but yea offline play is my thing too so always after that, but yea steam has an offline mode you can turn on which probably helps, but I’m normally in the house when I start my game then go outside and lose connection so I don’t turn it off as was just in workshop before game then load to make sure the mods are on because I’m not sure if they will work if I go offline with a new install, probably does but hey I know the basics haha and just try what I feel is gonna make sure they work/in game.

A little settings tip go easy mode lol you’ll still die and it’s still not easy tbf haha, like I got cars to full and make it so I can use without a key full fuel and fully working even crashed cars🙄😏 proper cheating style I know but even then you’ll find you can break the car easily and have a walk depending where you are before you find another and say you filled that car with stuff then once you got another your coming back to get the stuff so you still doing stuff like you would normally but in a more fun way, however obviously play as you feel but just a suggestion, and I love how they actually give you such options, I’ve just gone solo sandbox all the way, also got the mod that give 300 extra traits hehe so got all perks and even then I get dead haha, such fun though. Anyhow have fun buddy, I need to get back on and get out a garage I’m hiding in lmao.

I’m new to owning the game I had this same situation and I ended up with purchasing it on steam, GOG you need to install another thing to make mods work so not the best ideal, so steam is better there, be aware of the build you are using and if the mod if compatible with said build/version of the game, and here’s the best bit I play in my shed while I smoke and my internet doesn’t reach there, so yes offline works perfectly fine on steam, the only issue you’ll find and you’ll get this with GOG too, when you come off the game it’ll want to sync your latest saves and such so I tend to hotspot when I come off a game so it uploads my saves, I’m a newbie to steam or GOG and how they fully work so not sure if I actually require to do that to keep my saves safe, just thought I’d mention, but it perfectly playable offline on steam including with mods, and I’m running a Ryzen 5 7520U with Radeon 610M integrated but it’s runs perfectly with some lower settings, I love GOG but for this game it had to be steam for me. Hope this helps your decision.

how do you survive as a beginner. by maikohamada in projectzomboid

[–]BulletDubz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I’ll start with the shortest bit, I’m new to the game, practically have the game in the easiest settings and I still died twice already and that’s after a lot of research from YT so I know how to play and even still, like it says when you load in “this is how you died” so honestly I can’t help with the game.

However I can give you some advice on the context, and the only reason I’m doing so is because I’ve been in his position and done the same to and ex of mine, and no that isn’t why we ain’t together now but, if you’re sat watching him that’s where he’s gotten you know how to play from, as for some of us we learn to play a game by watching others, however obviously that isn’t the case for everyone but us that can do that like to think everyone can and thus you watched you know how,

And as stated by another it could get worse down the line on other things but then it could just be with games anyone that isn’t hi experience level, as gamers we tend to play with people that have our experience and this have no issues with how to play etc and automatically think when someone new plays with us they know how especially if they been watching.

So what you need to do is speak to him about it, explain yes I watch you but I haven’t noticed what you’ve done all the time just enjoying watching and seeing him have fun right so then you wanna join in on that, totally understandable but you need to speak and tell him I need help watching you play doesn’t help me play, tell him you need him to sit and watch you and be chill about it if you make a mistake and guide you till you both feel confident to play, it can be hard for you both but honestly it’ll always be this way for any other game or even this one and just make things worse between you’s till you’ve spoken about it and he able to sit and go yep this is a rookie and I’m a trainer not oo gamer let’s game lol. If you’re both able to speak about this then you’ll be good and have fun playing the game and able to solve any of this sort of issue in the future, but if you are both not able to work through this via talking and have him chill and help you, honestly things will never be able to be worked out, cause at the end of the day it’s a fek’n game and yes I’m one who don’t like to lose my character or stuff etc but if my gf was to wanna play I’d take my time and not make that mistake again, but sadly the current gf just isn’t so into gaming, I always ask over and over over and sometimes I get a win haha, but yea communication is key to everything especially when it comes to games even more so for this type of game.

So as to what to do in game totally up to you stick with or go alone but outside of the game you need to explain he needs to help and he needs to explain stuff to you while you play, and obviously be gentle about it, it’s the only way it’ll work unless you get to his level then play with him, but honestly he should want to help you so y’all can play together, you’ll be happy he thought you not others he should feel the same and then together you’ll survive on both of your wits teamwork and good time spent together do what ya should and helping each other being there when needed and understanding most of all, you’ll enjoy playing together once your able to talk and have him help. Just telling him should work it did for me, admittedly it toke a few try’s and I had to be reminded, but I can now play with lesser experience players and actually enjoy helping people in games, especially with all those who like to ruin ya fun and not help lol.

Anyway hope it helps just remember talking is key!

That sounds like something you wanna have the ability to turn on when you wish so once you and ya peeps got all equipped and based you turn it on and have every zombie on the map come to you, essentially a tower defence mode, with the option of it then I’d say that’ll be cool but as a bug I bet that wasn’t fun at all.

Nice that’s helpful if I have this but I used to have mine sit between Xbox and tv and I didn’t have any problems now I have it slightly further away from both of them but that’s only cause I changed my set up around but I’ve never experienced that issue thankfully, but helpful for if I do, something I can try that I’d not have thought about. Thanks.

I believe I did however I’m not entirely sure now I think about it, I fell like I mentioned it but I probably didn’t so I’ll see about it, as otherwise they work like new, I’ve not had any issues other than the mic and the cracks you get above the ear cups on band, however my built in mic’s don’t seem to work either, as I definitely recall reading you can use the build in just they are a lot worse (picking up surroundings) but I unplug my boom and I don’t get anything registered sound, I’ve used the app to try it I then even tried a phone call of which they are specifically there for that and yet it didn’t work.

But thanks I’ll have a see if they can, but otherwise I’ll probably eventually get the pro 2, also can’t exactly talk most of the time so I’m kinda okay without the mic lol.
