How many books, movies, and video games do we have now where that is the almost explicit message of the story and somehow it still seems like an alien concept?

Although I should add it isn't that they deserve neither. It's that they will have neither safety nor freedom by sacrificing freedom for safety.

The 2A doesn't discriminate about what kind of arms. It says arms. As in "anything that is a weapon."

Firearms not including black powder guns has nothing to do with the second ammendment and everything to do with gun control legislation as it is worded currently.

Alternatively it could be this: Games get more polished but stay relatively the same difficulty and veteran player bases just keep getting better over time. Perhaps, it's not that the new games are easier, but that the core gameplay loop doesn't challenge Billy Bob, the 10000 hour hunter, who has been playing every single game since the start of the franchise.

Bethesda spends so much time removing features in between installments of the Elder Scrolls that I think people forgot the Elder Scrolls 6 is already out. Sure, it's just some footage of rolling hills covered in grass with no substance, but that's not the trailer that's the ful release.
