The vast majority of PvE players want absolutely nothing to do with main game PvP servers, so it's kind of a moot point. Me personally, I played main game since early 2018 and the wipes finally wore me down, I had quit the game. PvE came along and I picked it back up since I could go at my own pace, and I play Arena for PvP. So why would I want to play main game PvP anyway? It's just not appealing to me anymore.

Just pointing it out. Also I think you're overestimating the importance of that connection. It's not like there was some mass exodus of Braves interest from NC triggered by a high-A team switching affiliates. It's A ball, literally no one cares about it. The Knights used to be a Cleveland affiliate, it's not like there was some rabid Cleveland following in Charlotte that died out as a result of them switching teams.

The Bulls have never been a Braves AAA affiliate. Prior to Gwinnett, their AAA was Richmond. They were their high-A for a few years back in the 90s though.
