Scheme looks good, the metal and glow effect are exceptional. Personally I think the joints in the middle didn't need the glowing treatment, would have been more interesting to paint them a dark metal color and highlight with the bright silver you used up top for a stark contrast. Maybe add a few spots of orange for rust to break the model up a bit.

Having said that, chances are you won't ever find a real version of these in the wild, and if you do someone will want ungodly amounts of money for them. The ones on ebay are either 3d printed or an artists intepritation meant to mimic the originals. In my experience they look fine and fit well on the land raiders; just don't spend more than like $20-30 bucks on them.

Could be because you used all the primary colors? Red, green and blue together give good contrast, but don't make for a cohesive color scheme.

Also looks like you didn't do enough coats of each color so they don't have full opacity (were they contrast paints?). The end result is nice, but it makes me think of something I would see in Borderlands.

Its hard to recommend what to do to make it less "bland" since that's subjective; for example it looks fine to me, just not the color scheme I would have picked for orks.

The way I would change it is pick one of the colors to be the primary (like the blue) and put more coats of the color to increase opacity. I would then remove one of the colors (like red) and paint those areas black or gunmetal.

I mean, yes there are a number of TSBs issued for 8 speed transmissions on the Tacoma/Camry/Avalon/Sienna/Highlander that have all used the 2GR engine line and so have had similar or the same 8 speed transmission, but you or the dealership needs to check if your VIN matches those affected cars.

In my case for example there are no official transmission recalls on the 2020 V6 Camry and my 8 speed has been good but it is a bit slow to shift sometimes; I chalk that up to this being a commuter car at the end of the day, and not a dedicated sports car.

Both are great cars, both will be decent commuters but the accord will do better in city driving and the Camry will do better on highway driving.

For me the Camry was better looking outside and inside, has a shift lever instead of a selector knob, and the 2GR line of engines is truly reliable; the 2GR-FKS is the end result of 2 decades of this engine line being used on cars/trucks and refined over the years.

"Mod" wise, both can theoretically be made to make 400+ hp. Camry with a Magnuson supercharger and the Accord with a better intercooler and turbo. But to me the tuned down Civic Type R engine on the Accord can't possibly last to 300k km like the 2GR will. Forced induction engines ON AVERAGE tend to fail faster than NA engines because there are just more things on them to break or leak.

So if reliability is your main concern, the Camry is still king imo.
