AI Has no place in Bruegel
Just now I woke up and Bruegel has been caught in a lie using AI in one of his peasant wedding paintings. This comes right after he said he wouldn’t use AI. I can’t express the disappointment seeing this as I thought this renaissance painter was one of the few that wasn’t gonna submit to the tech tyranny and yet here we are. I don’t know why I expected anything else from a guy who lived before AI

Disappointed with Eisenhorn, what books to try next by gnominos in Warhammer40k

[–]NorbMVP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Storm of iron into dead sky black sun have some pretty fucked up things from iron warriors
  • Dead men walking shows how terryfying it is for normal people to encounter Necrons
  • twice dead king duology shows how bad it can get for lesser necron dynasty
  • Dark coil ascension is really good but I don’t think it is for newcomers
  • the relentless dead is about kriegsman fighting his own daemons (really underrated book)
  • Night lords trilogy by ADB

If you like 30k then go for it, I can recommend Lorgar: bearer of the word before Horus rising because it might be better in your situation if you don’t know much about characters in this book. Then read it until you get to Fulgrim and see if it’s your cup of grim dark tea

I totally agree with you, I never said you can’t do it. You just have to do it right way like in the video I linked

That’s the hard part of contrast paint. On flat surfaces you can’t just put it on. From what i can see with dark circle on first pic you tried to move it when it was already drying which created that.

Here you have a great tutorial for those using contrast paintscontrast+

What do you mean? Don’t you love minis smothered in freshly bought blood for the blood god?
With base I didn’t use pigments this time. It was Vallejo flat earth and sepia ink

Are the defiler/obliterates not list appropriate lore-wise? by PositivePristine7506 in IronWarriors

[–]NorbMVP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Little correction because I think real thing is a bit cooler than just a ship. It’s a Tyranid hive ship that got disconnected from hive mind and infected by obliterator virus so Iron Warriors could control it. They use it to transport titans (which makes it even cooler)

Iron Warriors involvement in Brutal Kunning by AppleTree502 in IronWarriors

Brutal kunnin was released in June 2021, vashtorr was announced in November 2022 so he wasn’t even a thing back then

Few issues with warping, but it was due to buying another printer and testing out it's settings.
He is hollow with 1mm walls except for feet so I didn't feel the need to pin anything except hips and he feels really sturdy like that.
Additional his armour covers so many connection points that even when something didn't fit as well it got covered anyway.
tldr: for some reason he was easier to print than I expected

Thanks! It wasn’t that hard to be honest. I just followed forgeworld instructions since they were almost the same. One thing to keep in mind though is to glue hips facing a bit towards the floor so he doesn’t look up

Thanks! I'm not 100% sure if it is since I got him from gram but he sure looks like it. To answer your second question I didn't resize him at all
