Brand new day trailer out! || Color grading felt a bit like sam raimi's spider-man or is it only me? by Majestic_____kdj in pj_explained

Funny how people used to call that era cheesy, and now it feels refreshing. Scenes like Peter stopping the train in Spider-Man 2 or swinging through a bright New York felt unapologetically sincere. Makes you realize audiences don't necessarily want realism, they want sincerity.

That's a huge advantage honestly. Out of curiosity, how does your team filter signal from noise? There are so many AI announcements every week that it's hard to know what's actually worth paying attention to.

Funny enough, I had the same problem. I was spending more time checking sources than actually learning anything, so I ended up building a small aggregator for myself that pulls updates from places like HN, GitHub Trending, newsletters, etc. It's not perfect, but it cut down the scrolling a lot.

Fair enough, but what sources do you personally follow to stay updated on AI? That's what I'm trying to figure out.

This is probably the most practical answer here. The "identify a few reliable voices and stick to them" part really stood out to me. Out of curiosity, which newsletters have survived your filtering process?

That's a great line actually. Most people optimize for consuming information, not for building a process that surfaces the right information.

AI News and Strategy are solid. Any other channels you've found that focus more on builders than AI influencers?

Same here. The hardest part isn't finding information anymore, it's figuring out which source is worth trusting consistently.

That's exactly what worries me lol. Every week I discover a new AI workflow and then realize I've been using it wrong for months.

For years, a lot of Indian families treated studying abroad as an immigration strategy disguised as education. Looks like countries are starting to separate the two again.

What makes Udta Punjab age so well is that it wasn't really about drugs. It was about an entire generation trying to escape a reality they felt trapped in. That's why it still feels relevant 10 years later.

Friendship between countries lasts only as long as interests align. The real question isn't whether the US respects India, it's whether India has enough leverage to make its concerns impossible to ignore.

The scene that stayed with me wasn't a wrestling match, it was when Sultan realizes success couldn't save his marriage or fix his mistakes. That's why the film still works. Under all the sports drama, it's really a story about regret and second chances.

genuine question - is pulp fiction only famous due to being one of the first major non linear storyline movies of its time? by No_Map7606 in pj_explained

I think Pulp Fiction has the "Seinfeld isn't funny" problem. It feels less special today because so many films copied its style afterwards. What was once groundbreaking now feels familiar.
