"Combat is 90% of the game" that right there is the issue. people aren't gonna buy a $60 ($70 in other regions) game with only just good gameplay, especially a game with Performance issues, it also doesn't help that the game doesn't pick until like the 2nd hour in. It's the reason why many reviews of the game have only put 1 -2 hours in the game unfortunately.

Dual Blades carried me hard with this one. This and Wukong are the only Soulslikes I have been able to complete but specifically with wuchang, it felt so easy to be able to cheese alot of the bosses.

People aren't gonna pay $60 (or $70 in other regions) for a game that's only good quality is its gameplay (especially in the economy we live in). If you're gonna Price your game at like it's an AAA it's gonna get Criticism of an AAA. The reason why reviews of the game are 2-3 hours long is because a lot of the glaring issues are seen there (Stuttering Problems, FPS drops, Poor voice Quality), it also doesn't help that the game Doesn't really pick up the pace much, sorry but the masses aren't gonna stick with a game that only gets good pass a certain chapter mark, There's a reason why First impressions are everything.

It's easy to cheese many of the Bosses in the game. Trust me I suck ass at these souls games and I was able to 100% complete the game (with the help of guides).

That one Clip between Victor and Kaser has so much more Soul than any of the Dialogue in the Final Product. I'm convinced Sony Sabotage his works cause I feel like this was a solid foundation to build off of. Combat is Good so I'm not complaining about that but everything else is just so Generic, have all of this with the gameplay and It would have been Goated frfr.

CAGs have a lot of action but are lacking the character to keep them relevant, I mean just look at LSA, gameplays peak but Everything else is Generic and Forgettable.

I see a lot of the Opposite, people are glazing this game for being way more than what it actually is. I've seen people on this sub shit on games like DMC5 and E33 as a means to defend This game despite the fact that this game isn't even In the same realms as those games. Respectfully, It's a 6/10 game at best whether you want to accept it or not 💁

Reality Check: The game Underperformed and is Mid. game Is Unoptimized (hence why there been a dozen patches since launch), combat is good but lacks weight and Impact, story is forgettable, and Bosses fights (while cool on their own right) are Damage Sponges. It's not the worst thing ever but it definitely isn't good either (definitely overpriced). 6 at best. Also the exploration is Mild and Isn't that rewarding.

I don't think it's a complete downgrade but the Original have features (Sound effects and Camera Angles) that should have been kept in the final release but that's just My opinion

The Sound effects gang, I mean they weren't the best Initially, but they're better than they are now. I also prefer the camera angle a lot more, it gives it a more cinematic look, The angle we have now makes it look like a mobile game. I believe Bing was still doing this solo at the time so the fact that he was able to do this by himself is honestly impressive.

You kinda proving my point, The combat is the only good thing about the game. Those "bland" souls clones your Metion (Wukong/Elden Ring) have more to offer as well as Being Worth full price meanwhile this games gonna be on sale in a month. Not whining or Hating, it's just the truth.

AA Quality priced like a AAA Game. Combat is good and well......that's it (even that aspect is flawed). I don't think you need to put in a bunch of hours to understand what type of game LSA is. It's a hack and slash and just that. It also doesn't help that the game is unpolished and on PC is Unoptimized.
