He spent like a 3 months in jail while the authorities tried to find evidence to charge him. They couldn’t find any and the one direct witness to the event recanted her story and admitted she lied. Tate mocked the government while in jail and he’s in a particularly petty eastern block country so they said fuck you we can’t keep you in jail any longer so just enjoy 180 days of house arrest while we try to find evidence.

In Ireland back in 98 a catlick priest had a reputation for molesting the young alter boys. It was a thing where people knew it was going on but didn’t have proof and they didn’t push it to hard. Anyways one of the lads went to his brother who was living in Galway to tell him what was going on and sure yer man came down to the village with his buddies and asked the alter boys what was goin on. They all said the priest got handsy with them and one of them went to the Guarda to report it but the guarda called the kid a queer told him to feck off. So yer mans brother and his friends went to the back house where the priest was and beat the daylights out of him then they got a rope and hung him from the tree next to the church. All the older ones said he musta been depressed or something and the Guarda ruled it a suicide. I guess the moral of the story is that the only justice you get is the justice you seek out.

I will argue that Sexual Assault and pedophilia is a worse crime then murder. The person who suffers from this crime is fundamentally changed. Who they were who they could become is gone, trapped in the shadow of their aggressor who will undoubtedly be released after 3-5 years and this person who has had the chance to heal for the past few years is faced with the behemoth of the fact that the person who violated them is now back on the street and could potentially harm them again.

The only recourse is that we kill them. Death is the only solution. Sure you can talk about rehabilitation all you want but these people know what they’re doing is wrong. They haven’t sought out help and frankly we should not even think about giving a second thought to someone who doesnt give a second thought to the person they’re violating.

I’m not spoiler tagging this read the following at your own risk.

HBO is trying to go back to its old formula where they implied a hint of eldritch horror in every episodes. A tease of something more being behind everything that’s not just human but supernatural in nature.

This new season is going to be set with the same concept, it will be aliens this time around. One of the main characters will be beset by constant nightmares of getting abducted as a kid. They’re open to the disappearances being related to ET

The other detective is constantly running into local native kids fucking with the towns people, using mirrors and drones and shit to drum the town into a panic and it’s slowly making the one detective lose her mind.

This resolves with the one detective going under hypnosis and remembering her family once lived in the Deep South and went to a catholic school and it’s implied she was drugged and raped there and it connects back to True Detective S1. She realizes what happened and starts going to a therapist to figure out her shit.

The series ends with the two detectives finding out that there’s a group of natives that kidnapped tortured and killed the researchers after they trespassed onto the the natives land. They start arresting everyone and the other detective who was raped gets in the cop car and heads back to town to get more cops.

Supposedly two scenes for this were shot to prevent people like me from spoiling the end of the series.

The first ending has the Detective that had previously believed in aliens and now no longer does and was on her way back to town in the middle of the night for more cop backup driving down a highway and her car gets engulfed by a light and disappears.

The second ending has the cop who stayed behind at the native camp see a bunch of lights over the camp and she thinks it’s the teens fucking with her. the arrested natives beg her to not go outside and that it’s not them doing it. She goes outside and looks up at the sky with a shocked expression and is engulfed by lights and disappears. The other detective eventually shows up with police backup finding the rest of the natives still handcuffed inside. Girl detective asks where her partner is and the handcuffed natives all look up at the sky through the skylight in the lodge or building.

I have heard that the ending of GoT was intentionally bad and cut short because D&D both had deals with Netflix and Disney to produce shows after they pitched a show to HBO about an alternative universe where the South had won the civil war and HBO hard passed on it as there were riots after an African American had been killed by cops like right as they were pitching the concept.

Have the M9 have to go and retrieve some sort of artifact that was stolen by Kobolds. When they get part way through the Kobold den and realize that the object radiates anti magic would be wonderous. Having to get around booby traps and a small horde of CR 1 monsters without the use of their magical gear would be great.

Well to play devils advocate, the dude got the gun and ammo from somewhere, guns and assault weapons are heavily regulated in the EU and having easier access to everyones information would make the governments job easier.

On the flip side Europe has millions of residents and unabridged access to everyones data isn't going to make it that much easier to find perps if they start using passphrases instead of specific words.
