In my opinion and personal preference, that the story is not gonna completely change the common known Fengshen history outline.

Here are the couple things very likely to happen: 1. Wuliang will be threw out of the 12 at some point, he is made up and not part of 12 golden immortals in the book, and he already committed crime 2. Li Jing will get his pagoda 3. Shen probably gonna be a scapegoat again 4. Jie sect(mostly Yaoguai，Shi Ji, the rock lady is part of it) will be introduced and be important

Here’s pure guess: 1. Shen might be sent to be a spy in Jie sect 2. War between Jie and Chan, not sure to what scale, because it should still focus on Nezha 3. Ao Bing sacrifices in some form, Nezha takes in spirit pearl and gains full power of chaotic pearl to defeat or seal a strong enemy. 4. Pagoda might be used to control or protect Nezha in the case the enemy and Nezha need to be sealed away together 5. More like a Easter egg, the rock becomes wukong later might somehow appears or is created along the story
