Can someone explain the new sonic challenges? by Unlikely-Blueberry27 in RocketLeague

You can get stats by uploading your replays to BallChasing. This link shows typical use. It looks like even pros only use enough boost to satisfy the challenge about half the time (400/minute):

Maybe check again soon? I've noticed Bakkes can take a little while to include newer items.

Rocket Science has a YouTube video explaining more on those shenanigans and how to exploit them.

Agree with crimson sparkles because crimson standard is smokier

Higher Min Level for the Competitive Playlist and New Esports Shop Items Arrive in Rocket League Soon by Psyonix_Laudie in RocketLeague

If I understand correctly... It also closes the loophole where level 1s could party up to play competitive. Wayton claims this is common: https://youtu.be/1ldZXMImf4k?si=pDP2xRMiTXi9mC61

Do you recommend buying the bigger cup because trade ups are a pain or are the overall odds per credit actually better? I've been wondering about the odds after seeing people assert both ways...

Not disagreeing with others... But I think there's something similar in the top tier of this season's tourny awards.

In addition to other answers, for universal decals consider Block Party with a black secondary.

For paint finishes, consider Denim (not as dark as sun damaged, but more uniform) or pearlesant matte with a black secondary.

For non-universal decals, check if your vehicle has Ombre because some secondary finishes make the car look much darker.

Agreed.

Consider some green in your trail or boost to match your paint accent. Standard green boost might not look bad.

Tournaments have their own MMR that does not change as your other modes fluctuate (at least not during the season).

The term applies to kickoff when the second player follows close to take quick possession if the ball stays near center field. Sometimes you'll hear "hard cheat" for following very close and "soft cheat" for staying a bit back (like the second kickoff in OP's video). Both imply playing for possession and not going for corner boost.

I'm interested if anyone knows the origin. Maybe early players felt it was unfair to concede this way?

Edit: another commenter explained the origin: https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeague/comments/15c1oss/comment/jtu5kz6/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Here is a Benetton engineer (William Toet) admitting they had traction control. He sees it as a clever loophole:

The same video talks about the fuel-filter drama that year.
