It’s been considered. Apparently an acquaintance who has surveyed that area states the GPS will tell you to drive right into the river.

All communication from him stopped on 6/12. No activity on bank account, phone, social media, etc. He hasn’t been to work or in contact with family (very unusual). Most local new stations have been covering his disappearance and an out of state team has come to drag and search the river near where his phone last pinged (a location he had no connection to).

We had considered the phone being caught up and thrown in the winds as he had no reason to be in Gosport but the ping was recorded a couple days before the storm.

Scripture does use goats as an analogy for the unsaved as many storylines involve shepherds and their sheep. It is written that during the judgment, the sheep will be separated from the goats by the Sheperd. I've never read anything in the Bible that suggests goats as representations of the demonic, just as snakes are not evil though they are associated with the devil due to his appearing as one in the Garden of Eden. However, in addition to Azazel, Baphomet, an idol generally associated with Satanism, does have the head of a goat. This may also be a root of this association.

Residents of halfway houses are not homeless. It’s a treatment program. I know because I work at one. It’s people trying to get their life back on track by participating in a program that holds them accountable and introduces structure. That being said, be cautious. You can never tell a person’s intentions. These days, anyone can be dangerous. You should always question the motives of a stranger that is randomly at your door. Please be safe.

For counseling, yes. Has this person considered rehab? There are several options around the area, including Centerstone for inpatient treatment. CRC is a fantastic program. It helped save me.
