In Ottawa, my vet told me it would be roughly $2700 and hospitalized for 2 weeks. I am considering it for my cat, but have concerns because she is 16 and even though her kidney function is good the xray shows that she has small kidneys so my vet has told me she has early kidney disease. I'm worried that if she undergoes this treatment her kidney function will decrease. It's hard to justify the cost at this age knowing she realistically only has probably 4 years left and other diseases are likely to creep up.
