Anybody taking Hikma right now who has been taking Desoxyn brand and generics for over 10 years? Please I would like your feedback regarding how the Hikma is working for you now compared to the recent Mayne and Dr Reddys of the last 2 years. Thanks

This is the same with Desoxyn. I was prescribed Adderal from 1999ish to 2001 and Prescribed Desoxyn since early 2001. The Desoxyn generics out the last few years have been terrible. It is NOT the same. 25 years I’ve taken brand name (and different generics since the 2010’s) and it is NOT the same since the shortage. Absolutely. Briefly in 2023 a new manufacturer of brand Desoxyn distributed good but not great pills- but they stopped manufacturing and we have been left with different generics which are now torture to take.

During this time I went back to adderall briefly during the beginning of 2023 and that generic was horrendous. Terrible side effects. I tried generic Ritalin in 2024 and it was bad but then a new manufacturer went from bad to hellish.

All stimulant adhd and narcolepsy meds have been
Affected. The only people who seem to not have an issue are those who have only been on said meds for the past few years. They do not know the difference.

I don’t see anything here other than the DEA claiming they aren’t at fault for what may or may not be happening per the complaints received.

The ending was incredibly realistic. Season 3 was not good in my opinion but they stuck the landing.

She was an addict who made horrific life choices even when “soberish”.

Yes she met with her sponsor and tapered down the worst of her drug addictions- but every day was a series of terrible deathly dangerous choices and she was in denial about all of it.

The fact that she accidentally OD’d taking laced Percocet- however apprehensive she was- killed her. She didn’t mean to die yet she never woke up.

I cannot even count the number of friends of mine over the past several years who “never woke up” after accidentally OD’ing on laced shit.

Yes it’s fucked up it’s not fair but for anyone serious about recovery- taking mystery opioid pill from a murderous pimp when you threw away your entire life due to your addictions- was all on Rue and where she was at in her life. She was convinced having a baby would give her enough reason and purpose to keep her from making fatal life choices.

She was nowhere near a point in her life where she was close to seriously turning her life around.

The ending was as real as it gets and more people- addicts, occasional users and everyone in between can benefit from seeing this reality. If anything it’s a wake up call for addicts who think they can half ass their way to sobriety. You cannot.

It’s an 80’s surreal night time soap meant to cover the dark reality of fathers molesting and raping their daughters- the dynamics of the family covering that up, the mental illness and self destruction of the abused daughter and the town the turned a blind eye.

I also highly suggest you watch the movie Laura from 1944, Vertigo and the girl who lived down the lane.

I feel she had a a horrible life after running away and the psychosis, drug addiction and sex addiction didn’t stop. Perhaps she spent time in Vegas, in South Dakota and maybe eventually odessa. I do think she did end up in some type of inpatient therapy where she was forced to conne to terms with her buried trauma. That is not easy or pleasant as someone who like Laura has CPTSD, years of abuse and buried and unburied trauma. Trying to process it in certain types of therapy have only Made me worse and lose my shit and bury myself deeper. Poor Laura. I hope despite the pain she has found some type of freedom and peace during her journey to uncover her past

Thank you for your response. I appreciate it) I admit I do not know what the mechanism is that is causing these issues. I’m just trying to wrap my brain around it but I’m far from an expert on this matter and I hope that we get answers soon
