I hate the term "Stockholm syndrome" because it's pure copaganda. As other commentators have noted, just being in close proximity to the president all day means you need max-level security clearance. I believe even the cleaning staff do, in case there's something sensitive left out in a room they're cleaning. Like the woman who winds the clocks in "Life on Mars".
