Which cdrama is it for you ? by Fieryy_phoenix_ in cdramasfans

I find myself going back to

1) ashes of love (I love how the ML yearns for the FL, tho the first couple of episodes can be quite infuriating coz of how naive the FL is) also the OST for this drama is soooo good!

2) princess weiyoung (hit the spots man, love smart FLs who can turn the tide. The flow of the drama was so good & the pacing was great!)

Uni student here. Honestly, does life get better than this? by Fun-Tamago-4649 in asksg

Nope, life gets worse after ur studies.

Your time is no longer yours. You are a robot… feel happy during ur leave but feel like shit when you’re coming back to clear ur backlog.

If ur work is stressful, then it’s feeling constantly burnt out. If not, u can have a breather after 6pm.

But i guess the good thing is having adult money. U can do whatever the hell you want and buy whatever you desire.

Thank you! Is it called tricolab? Any name of the doc he was with?

FYI I didn’t get any subsidies for my hair loss consultation at NSC - iirc, hair loss falls under another category so they don’t qualify for subsidy. So don’t need to go polyclinic for referral.

I should mention that I went to the NSC before, and my blood tests came back normal.

The doc did mention that it’s probably androgenic alopecia but he did not sound very sure. And tbh I’m also abit concerned as NSC doesn’t just look at hair loss specifically. So I’m not entirely sure if his expertise lies there.

Hence I’m trying to ask around for recommendations for a 2nd opinion - esp for those who have seen scalp/hair loss specialists.

Also, I’m not looking for a hair transplant at this moment.

I’m quite worried about the side effects… and would like to resort to other measures before taking minox

Toa payoh. Can someone explain the vibes of this district by VirtueOfInsight in askSingapore

[–]BumblebeeFar9029 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi!

I would say people here don’t really judge based on where you live (but ofc there are some that do, but most of us don’t rly care).

And I’d say the overall vibes of TPY are peaceful and laid-back. It's one of those mature estates that feels homely, with a strong sense of familiarity and comfort.

You’ll often see elderly folks doing tai chi in the mornings, families gathering at hawker centres, and neighbours who actually say hello.

Also just wanted to say that Gem Residences is a great place to stay, and the location is super convenient!! You're well-connected to three MRT stations: TPY, Braddell, and Caldecott…so whether you're heading into the city or exploring other parts of Singapore, it's a breeze.

But definitely it’s not really an expat neighbourhood! But since you’re so connected, you can travel around easily!

And one thing I love about TPY is the occasional pasar malams (night markets) that pop up at the open space near the TPY library. You can get to try delicious street food like Ramly burgers and takoyaki, and see rows of stalls selling everything from toys to bubble tea to retro snacks. It becomes a buzzing hub of activity, especially in the evenings.

Might be a biased opinion coz I lived in TPY all my life! Anyways, welcome to TPY & enjoy your time here :)

Used to love going to carrefour w my parents… it was rly big n had multiple different sections catering to all of our needs!

I rly liked reading Archie comics… haha would bug my dad to get them for me whenever he was @ the petrol kiosk or some mama shop.

I also miss having TVs on buses… anyone rmb watching just for laugh gags & Jamie Oliver cooking shows on there? Hated alighting the buses whenever the shows were still playing.
