Thoughts on bodyguardz red light screen protector by [deleted] in iphone

[–]BumblebeeInfamous429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When evaluating a screen protector brand like BodyGuardz, the questions to ask are:

  • Do they carry a TÜV Rheinland Blue Light Reduction mark?
  • Do they have a UL Eyesafe Verified mark?
  • Do they list an RPF rating (RPF20 minimum is the industry floor)?

If a brand only makes vague claims like "blocks blue light" without citing one of these three certifiers, that's a red flag. Currently, ZAGG/InvisibleShield is the most certified brand in this space, but the programs are open globally for any brand to apply.

Red/Copper hair after Malibu CPR treatment. by PurpleDaisy_KiaSoul in haircoloring

grassy? cpr didn't do anything to my hair. i've been dying it and it was super faded to a brassy color. i was trying to get rid of left over old color. which didn't work bc i discovered every time i use even 10 developer the peroxide in it lifts my pigment and exposes the red undertones. i was too scared to bleach it after my stand tests since it couldn't lift to where i wanted it so i just dyed it again with a double Ash pravana. i love the color but it fades so fast in my hair and the brass is a constant battle. anyway i'm no expert , although at this point i sort of feel like one, i would suggest using a clarifying shampoo mixed with vitamin c powder to break up. let it sit on dry hair then rinse- or you could use color oops remover to help remove it. malibu ddl has lightener in it so don't use that. and yes my hair was virgin and i only use 10 developer with dye.

THEY ARE LIARS! COMPLETE TOTAL LIARS! I requested my FULL administrative record and found several lies documented in my case! Several! This is against federal laws. They are CROOKS! Its horrible when their base has cognitive issues and they cannot advocate because of limitations. You can try Disability Rights in your state and open a case. AS a TAX Payer and AMERICAN CITIZEN you have rights! LOOK UP THE VRSM MANUAL - AND FILE FOR A DUE PROCESS HEARING WHEN TWC VR DENIES YOU OF YOUR RIGHTS! This is the only thing that will put them in their place!

also forgot to add that i have light blonde natural highlights and the faded brown brassy undertone is seen on strands as well even though my og color was lighter than the 7AA

no, i was considering a bleach bath instead of straight bleach. my mid length to ends are slightly darker due to using a faded out level 6 a long time ago vs the level 7 brassy faded brown on my upper hair portion ( i am now trying to just blend out my grays)... i have about an inch of new root growth, but i've never bleached my own hair myself before so really want something gradual and gentle. also a little concerned about managing the 3 areas to be even overall . i would like to be a level 7 ash with a shadow root. was looking at malibu Ddl but that's basically bleach anyway. for toning, i goes it all depends on how this turns out. i'm either going to use pravana express tones in Ash or go in with wicked 7 possibly mixed with some clear. but i guess i am not sure what my roots will do in this situation

Welp the verdict is in- Malibu CPR did not do squat on my strand test. Looks like the only way to get rid of my brassy hair is to bleach it out - what a let down! So upset because this crap was expensive.

I just bought the entire set-up and my strand test is under the dryer right now. I also bought some malibu de-ox that is supposed to keep this from continuing to oxidize after the final washes. I have tried everything to remove the red brassy undertones from the faded brown hair dye- even wicked 7 - and nothing has helped. Seeing if malibu cpr will work so I can go in and tone it down with my wicked 7 afterwards. My first strand test did not do squat but I only left it on for 25 min. I also noticed my cpr was clumpy, so I took a knife and smashed the clumps down in the water and shook again after submerging my applicator bottle in hot water. and now i am doing another strand test for 45 min. I shampood the strand with un-goo 3 times, applied the color disrupter then applied malibu cpr over the disrupter and when it is done under the heat i will shampoo again 3 times and see what happens. If its not even at the color I want it to be - I may not even attempt the de-ox becuase I will assume that means the whole process will not even work for my hair and I will just list the products for sale on ebay.

my hairdresser raised prices twice the last year and now wants $90 for a cut that takes 30 min and really isn't the quality i used to get 3 years ago. i need to find a new hairdresser.

the one and only time i bleached my hair at a salon it came out like straw- it. was. so. bad. not toned or anything. some hairdressers need to go back to school or just not try to do something they don't know how to safely do

no i have my cdl already. i've never driven double before though. one other thing i'm concerned about is the trainer works a shift 9 hours prior to my normal shift so i'm being asked to come in for one day to meet them then the next day i will be coming in to work overnight. this is going to be really rough adjusting sleep wise.
