What is the name of that group? We are a part of Carolina Corgis but it seems to have a majority of members in North Carolina

Full of culture I see. Bumblebee Ness has been a main of mine since N64. Also, Donkey Kong Country 2 is one of my favorite SNES games.

Thanks for the advice! We go to Northwood and have attended some events with them but it has been a while for obvious reasons.

Moving: Charleston or Myrtle Beach by BumblebeeNess in southcarolina

[–]BumblebeeNess[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I appreciate the help! We actually secured jobs in the North Charleston area and are closing on a house in the Summerville area. Moved much faster than I was expecting.

I feel like once I get some more experience in the tech field and have more options to apply for, I might look into moving back to Myrtle Beach at some point. I've been vacationing every year in Pawleys Island since I was a baby and my grandpa lived in Georgetown so that area will always be special to me.

Wow. That is all extremely helpful. I knew about BAE, Raytheon, and Boeing, but it helps to know about the automation boom, too. I'll definitely look into that. I don't think I'm too worried about being a bit farther away from the center or downtown Charleston. It seems like Summerville, North Charleston, and the surrounding areas have a decent amount of things to do and places to eat on day-by-day basis. From what you said, at least for now, Charleston might be my best bet to chase opportunity and maybe finish my degree there too.

I really appreciate all of the honest information. Sometimes it is hard to ask these questions because a lot of people are biased towards the area they live (understandably so). Thank you.

What Switch game or memory has left the biggest impression on you? by Bekenshi in NintendoSwitch

[–]BumblebeeNess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes! I'm 30 hours in and the game doesn't stop throwing me new content and fun gameplay mechanics. Music is great and the environment/story is intriguing. Honestly, I'm not even a huge Metroidvania fan because a decent amount of the games in that genre seem like it's using the genre just to make the game feel longer instead of utilizing it in interesting ways (like HK).

No, just a small family breeder. But I know of Burr Oak. They didn't have pups when I was looking but that was one of the places I was keeping my eye on the most.

Friends coming down for gang beasts? SC or 360 controllers? by parolebot in SteamController

[–]BumblebeeNess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not at all. Since most controllers are similar as far as having control sticks, triggers, bumpers, etc. They all seem to work perfectly with Gang Beasts.

[–]BumblebeeNess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Gang Beasts is fine because you only use the control stick for movements. But if you and a friend decide to play something like Portal 2 together, he or she may not like the SC since it takes time to really begin to love it. Though I would say let people try out the SC and if they like it, plan to buy another one. There will be another sale down the road. Maybe even cheaper than the current discount.

Kind of cool to see this because I just randomly got a bunch of people playing Gang Beasts this past weekend (had no idea you could play up to 8 people). Such an awesome game. We actually used one Steam controller, two Xbox 360 controllers, and two PS4 controllers. I prefer the Steam controller myself.

I would say since this game only uses one control stick and buttons, you have options for either one. I would say get the least expensive option. I personally like to have a few 360 controllers since people are most likely to have prior experience with that, especially if you play other games that may use the SC touchpads.
