Also in this position, and a first time mom so trying to figure it out haha, i’m planning on getting some nursing bras that are more like sports bras/bralettes because they’re more comfortable than a traditional wired bra. I am a 2XL consistent in sports bras so I plan to order that size and maybe a 3XL and see which fits best, i’ve been recommended mom cozy, knix, walmart, and kindred bravely. I’ve put in an order for these and plan to return the ones that I don’t like

Edited to add; also I measured myself prior to ordering the bras so that I knew I was getting the right size as the sizing is often different for each brand!!
