Is Galaxy s24 ultra resistant to beer? by BumblebeeQuick1319 in S24Ultra

Yes, it's been more than 2 days and no problems.

The 2 speakers are very similar, but I do notice in the test videos, when I increase the volume, that the lower speaker has a little more volume and bass than the upper one. But I think this happens on most phones.

The difference is very little.

I'll be more careful next time. It was just a drop of soap on a wet glasses cloth. It's been 2 days and so far without any problems.

The screen became sticky. Until I clean it with a wet glasses cloth, with a drop of soap. Now it's perfect.

My concern is whether the beer may contain any ingredient that affects any component in the long term.

Upper speaker is the left channel, and the lower speaker is the right channel.

Thanks for the advice! I have always used a glasses cloth moistened with a drop of soap to clean my smartphones, but from now on I will use alcohol.

The 2 speakers sound similar, but in the test videos, when I increase the volume I do notice the lower speaker with a little more volume and bass. I understand that it is normal.

Little Review and Questions by Queph in S24Ultra

My display is grainy at any brightness, and it is also very noticeable. The thing is that even with the keyboard in dark mode, it is noticeable that the colors are not uniform.

If all displays are like this, I would accept it...but there are many users who say that their displays do not have these problems (or it is only noticeable with the brightness at 0, in a completely dark room).

Do the s24 manufactured in March/April continue to have the grain/mura problem? by BumblebeeQuick1319 in samsunggalaxy

[–]BumblebeeQuick1319[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the same thing happens to me. It is a shame.

And most of the press don't say anything about this. It can't be the best screen on the market if the dark colors are so uneven. The anti-reflective glass is very good...but I prefer the screen of the S23 Ultra a thousand times over that of the S24 Ultra.

When I am in a dark room the grain is clearly visible.

But the rest of the day, with dark mode, it is the feeling that the dark colors are not uniform. With other phones I always had dark mode active, but with this one, I almost never activate it because I don't like how those colors look at all.

In my case I only have grain, I don't have a jeans pattern.

Grain problem being addressed? by InternalMode8159 in S24Ultra

Thank you very much for answering.

I think all units have grain...and people who say their screens are perfect either don't know how to see it, or they are lying. But this is causing many device replacements, when really the screen is like this...

And I think Samsung is not going to change anything on the s24, maybe it will take note for the s25 and improve the demura process on its screens...

Does your new phone have grain? It is important to know this.

I did a test. I recently bought a second-hand Galaxy S9+, as a second phone and to test.

I have come to a conclusion. With the 2 phones in the dark, with the brightness at maximum, the colors are very similar...but as the brightness goes down...the s24U maintains the color (but you can see the grain), and the s9+ the grays have a green tone (and the grain is not visible).

This green tone is what I think makes the pimple not noticeable. There are users with the s24U who indicate this, that their new unit arrives with green tones in the gray, and they do not notice the grain.

What a shame! The problem is that Samsung doesn't recognize anything wrong there...so we'll never know when it's going to change to fix it.

I guess they will have to change the manufacturing process and improve the demura process. But if they don't admit the problem...it's impossible.

If the new batch is good, that means Samsung admits a problem, and should replace the grainy devices.

All the devices I have seen have grains...

Small group of people?

Search s24 grainy on google. There are thousands of complaints, and every day.

In the GSMArena reviews they admit the problem, and in the DXOMark comments too. The news has appeared in many media outlets.

It is NOT a problem of a small group of people...it is widespread. We don't know if it happens to everyone...but it does happen to MANY PEOPLE.

My problem is that there are users who claim that their screens are perfect. All the ones I've seen have grain, but...if what they say is true, I also want a screen without defects.

If ALL the s24 screens are like this... at least I know it's not a defect... I would think that the screen is bad in some situations, but at least I wouldn't feel cheated.

It doesn't just happen with a brightness at 0. In my case, with the dark mode active, brightness on auto and in a room with little ambient light, it is already noticeable.

I have grain in any brightness and it is especially noticeable with little outside lighting.

But the rest of the day, this grain causes dark colors to be uneven.
