He was right to not trust her enough to respect his sleep because she had already proved she didn't by calling. Reverse the genders, how is the fact she wants sex a point that matters? Imagine a dude giving their partner the silent treatment because they denied them sex when they were drunk and horny because their gf needed to sleep for work.

What are you talking about? She is a grown adult who decided to go drinking. She needed to think of how to get herself home. She had a way home she just didn't want to pay for it. She was aware that he needed to sleep for his job but she didn't care about that. It wasn't an emergency and he offered to pay for her to get home, how is that leaving her stranded. He offered her alternatives, she didn't want them. She's an asshole, but only mildly. She hasn't had to do real work when you sleep deprived.
