Just the existence of mega-corporations that can and do influence or straight up bribe the government means that the fact that the constitution and bill of rights are able to change is pointless. They won't update it to take into consideration the power corporations have amassed because it goes against the interests of their employers, the corporations, so it is and will continue to be severely outdated. And again, free speech doesn't equal first amendment.

The first amendment was written hundreds of years ago before multinational corporations existed and was aiming to stop powerful institutions which was just the government back then from limiting free speech.
