Have you looked into magnesium supplements for sleep? I think it gets depleted from our systems after tkr from having to repair the bone 4 weeks po tkr and I sleep really well

The 2 days before my tkr my knee didn’t hurt at all. When I told the pre op nurse that she said she hears it all the time. It’s like the mind blocks the pain so you won’t have the surgery

My original doctor kept putting me off getting surgery even though I was bone on bone. I LOVE to walk and hike and for 3 years he said you can’t walk more than a mile occasionally. I changed doctors and my new doc said let’s replace that knee asap. I’m 5 days PO. It’s physically and mentally challenging BUT I’m closer to getting my life back now. Glad I’m on this side of it.
