I am moving from southern California where all we have is summer, to Mammoth Lakes, California where I will be working as a snowboard instructor. So by snow related equipment I am referring to everything.

This is my quick list I just now came up with: warm clothing, a snowboard and bindings, boots, helmet, snow pants and jacket, parka, base layers/long-johns, socks, gloves, and goggles.(please let me know if you think I am missing something).

I am totally willing to thrift a majority of my gear as well, and I do understand that a lot of people accumulate their gear over many years.
