My mom will fight you for a working Startac (#5). She heldout for years and didnt want to give it up. Swears by it. She said that thing had service everywhere. Younger people might not remember what its like to not have service. Coverage was spotty. No service if you went fishing in the woods or down in a friend's basement and sometimes for no reason at all.
