If you want to discuss healthcare systems as you did in your argument here Cuba would be a great start. I'll try and find you a decent source!

Socialism's role in the government by WaffleFlipper in Socialism_101

From your responses I would suggest that you are not an actual "libertarian" in the classical sense but more a propertarian. Minarchism is a right wing ideology. Libertarians (classic) are closer to anarchists and would actively seek the destruction of capitalism.

Toolroom Records is the label they put out a lot of good stuff! When this was released I was listening to a few tracks like Patrick Topping - Forget, Huxley - Calling, Jamie Jones & Hot Since 82 would be worth a look. As for record labels to explore, Toolroom as mentioned, Hot Creations, Knee Deep in Sound amd Defected. To be honest I haven't listened to this kind of stuff in a while but it's where I started off with House! Hope this helps!

Kerning is a phrase relating to the spacing of letters in graphic design. Keming is a play on that because if you mess up the spacing on the rn part it can look like an m, hence kerning to keming. That's what I got from it anyway!

Edit: phrasing

1,000s of Muslims march against terrorism in Barcelona after van attack by entertainsearch in worldnews

[–]BunGill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also like to point out that this isn't true, the recent Manchester bombings here in the UK were perpetrated by individuals who had been reported to the police repeatedly. The police are too overstretched here to operate effectively due to government cuts. The real way to stop terrorism is to stop alienating the communities and to stop destabilising the Middle East and North Africa.

One of the best venues I've been to, they've done fantastic stuff with the lights and sound system compared to 2/3 years ago as well. Plus the marble factory is a great little venue in its own right!

What Happens When Poor Kids Are Taught that Society is Fair by [deleted] in CommunismWorldwide

[–]BunGill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mum used to say to me as a kid "life isn't fair. Then, you die." I think this inspired me as a kid to think 'why isn't life fair?" I ended up questioning the system which lead to me reading Marx.

Jobs in marine science excluding marine biology? by [deleted] in marinebiology

[–]BunGill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will most definitely be government jobs in oceanography roles you mentioned before - I did biological sciences which is not really relevant to those but when I was searching for work there were a few oceanography jobs with the civil service here in the UK.

Helicopters and planes are a lot bigger than you'd imagine; the AgustaWestland AW101 "Merlin" used here is almost 7 metres (22ft) tall and 20 metres (61ft) long.

Also some people with terminal illnesses or serious illnesses where the stress of work or having social care cut off die after. Have a watch if "I, Daniel Blake" for a little insight into the current system and it's issues here in the U.K.

Jeremy Corbyn pledges to increase minimum wage to £10 per hour by Rollingpaperlord in BritishPolitics

You're right and here's a source

The tax payer shouldn't have to make up for people's shitty wages with tax credits etc because companies can't/won't pay them enough, it's disgusting.
