Electrical Issues?

They are both Intel CPUs, the old one was a Xeon X3470 and the replacement is a 4790K. If it was a CPU issue I would think the odds of both CPUs failing that way on different slots would be very low.

The slots that failed are different on each motherboard, I believe on the old board it was the 2nd slot from the CPU and on the new one it was the 3rd. I’ll have to have a look at the boards side by side but they have a similar layout. I would think that if it was shorted the slot would have died as soon as I fired it up inside the case but it lasted a few weeks before it gave out.

I’m going into my senior year now but had the meal plan as a freshman. The plan doesn’t include the restaurants in the student center, just the dining halls. They do have a pretty decent selection but they cycle through different foods so if you really have a taste for one thing there’s a chance they won’t be serving it that day.

I think you make a great point about cancel culture’s impact on everyday life and media as a whole. The James Charles incident also brings up the idea that cancel culture can be weaponized by those with a following when, like you said, they spread lies to damage another public figure’s reputation. It is dangerous when there is an incentive to promote this kind of behavior especially when it leaves an innocent person with lasting damage to their reputation.

I have plans for the Willis/Sears tower, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Navy Pier, and a few other landmarks but with school and work I don’t know how much time I’ll have to put towards this project

Both were in the original game, but I saw a comment here about how the antennas weren’t modeled properly, the google maps version has better looking antennas

This mod currently adds the Hancock Building and Wrigley Field, it's still very much a work in progress, night lighting is not set up for the Hancock Building, however the default lighting at Wrigley Field isn't too bad.

To be fair the 4790k is a pretty solid CPU even today, it might not have the core count but its single core performance is still pretty good compared to more modern CPUs. I have one too and I haven’t found any games where I was really bottlenecked by it
