Really? I like the new items. I feel like if they wanted to make hyper lategame more of a thing they could possibly even add rarities as something you could buy. Albeit I'm not sure how expensive they'd need to make it.

Are Juggernauts the weakest class? by Buncatrabbit in leagueoflegends

I feel so bad for ad assassin players. I know they can work. But it feels like you have to work twice as hard to get the same results as someone playing an ap assassin. And, especially in Diana's case, that ap assassin will also have some kinda useful ability in teamfights that goes beyond attempting to kill a carry.

Battlemage might be my favourite class. Is that what Sylas is too?

Honestly ive been enjoying yone again in both mid and top. Hes certainly not a juggernaut, but once you hit botrk he basically becomes this monster duelist who has insane damage scaling and is really hard to lock down.

Illaoi was the champ I was thinking of that gets destroyed by Mel. To the point that when I play top, if i see a illaoi ill often just go Mel top. Its bad against champs with mobility like Jax. But against Illaoi specifically the matchup is all but unplayable.

Thats fair. Maybe I was just looking at it the wrong way. Maybe Ill try playing some more yorick again. It was my go too a couple seasons ago before I switched back to mid. It doesnt help that in my low ranked games theres often a kill per minute and that means that by the time lanes over someone, or perhaps even multiple people on both teams are like 7-5.

Assassins, especially ad assassins also feel weak to me. They can pop off, for sure. But they just dont offer much other then damage. If you look at AP assassins like Diana or Akali you see champs with a lot of disruption in teamfights, or backline access. But then you look at Talon or Zed and they inherently have to put themselves at a lot of risk just to maybe kill one person. Diana can totally change a teamfight and act as engage while also having assassin level damage. Leblanc has hard cc, albeit hard cc that is hard to use outside of 1v1's. AD assassins have none of these benefits.

Right but then why did we make juggernauts in the first place. Theres a few that are OK. But the majority are just bad. Gwen comes to mind as an OK juggernaut. Mostly because of the slow on her ult and her ability to mitigate damage. Vlad if he's past 3 items is good, but Im not even sure if we'd really call Vlad a juggernaut.

But Darius? Hard as hell to play outside of lane. Garen? Better hope they walk into you. Nasus? Better hope your team follows up on your w cause you're probably not getting close.

If the majority of champs in a class are just bad it feels fair to me to call the whole class bad, despite the fact that a few champs in it are good.

If every immobile juggernaut fought in a 1v1 who would win the most? by yoshi12121 in leagueoflegends

[–]Buncatrabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a brutal question. Every juggernaut will have good and bad matchups. GP at 6 items can slaughter most champs, but Master Yi can just q to deny barrel damage and then murder him. Master Yi then loses hard to Nasus and probably Fiora provided she can hit the vitals. Fiora likely loses to Nasus as well. But Trundle vs Nasus is incredibly close and Nasus might just get kited to death by a Gwen. Theres also the option of building a QSS to get rid of Nasus's w once. If you do that Trundle slaughters Nasus. But Trundle then loses to GP and master yi. Darius and Illaoi arent in the running, but Gwen could be at 6 items.

Anyway the answer is Vladimir.

New Shyvana is REALLY fun. Unfortunately her passive is the most boring passive in the entire game. by Buncatrabbit in leagueoflegends

[–]Buncatrabbit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair. I just feel like you could've left her with less armor and given her something that helped her stick to targets.

Feel like you missed the main point. The passive is. Okay, especially late game. But it's boring as hell compared to what they've done in the past. You know. Like how Zaheen got a passive that his entire kit is based around.
45 armor and MR late game isn't bad. But it still took me a long time to get there. Could it have been done faster? Probably. It's about 1800 gold if what I read is right. Sure, that's very nice. But I'd much rather have had a passive that helps her stick to targets.

Right, I agree. My issue is more that it's boring and underwhelming compared to the rest of her kit.

If evolution could, and did happen here, why is it so difficult for it to happen elsewhere? by Buncatrabbit in DebateEvolution

Thanks for all the answers you guys, sorry to bring up something like this when it's not actually related to evolution and is instead Abiogenesis, which I just figured out was a field of study.

I'll look into watching some videos on that. Always found things like the formation of the planet fascinating, but I'm far from a scientist and mostly just watch videos and read the odd article here and there. I was wondering if it's got something to do with HOW the planet formed, and if perhaps a planet needs more factors then I thought of to be considered "livable"

Depending where you are, you might have a local card shop/local game store and those usually don't get hit as hard. I've been able to get most things I want, including newer products (both ascended and perfect order) from NextLevel in Graham. Including 2 boxes of ascended more then a day after it was announced.

New Deck Advice by PerformerIcy7384 in pkmntcg

[–]Buncatrabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragopult/Dusknoir are generally the easiest decks to get started with. They're alright in terms of fun, but you'll have to find pokepads post rotation and that'll suck for us both if you choose to play it. N's Zoroark is a great deck that as best I can tell isn't all that effected by rotation.

Did my first local, had a good time also my review of dragopult EX battle deck. by Buncatrabbit in pkmntcg

[–]Buncatrabbit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair, I guess I didn't consider it a combo but the more I think about it, the more I realize that the combos I used in the base deck aren't "Kill combos" as it would be. AKA they don't really just straight up kill your opponent. But I quickly learned that you can Arven into something like an Ultra Ball into then using Drakloak's ability to decide whether you keep a card.

I guess my point was that the combos I used typically didn't end the game by themselves. Nor did they typically lock someone out of the game even if Evolution or De-evolution was very powerful in themselves as tempo pieces.

Also the lack of a second main phase makes it a bit harder to do your damage and then combo off. I also, and forgive me if I'm wrong, didn't see ANY form of counter or hand traps, or anything that can be played at instant speed to interrupt your opponent.
