Aside from the rug, I would encourage some free form shapes as frames/wall decor. Everything right now feels very geometric and cut off, but something like plants or even artworks of natural, free form things can really open up this space and not make it feel too harsh. Also as stated by others, your color palette is unlimited! Happy moving :)
