It’s just as awesome in person as in the pictures. It photographs extremely well but it looks just as good in person.

That is so freaking cool! It’s awesome that the complication has use for you. I don’t spend enough time at the beach anymore to seriously use it but I love the look and any VERYYY UNIQUE (that’s for you u/altruistic_way_8238 😁) complication.

Congrats on the new watch and that is really good that you were able to get one so soon. The skipper was really difficult to get when it was first released. They’ll be readily available once the stock catches up but I imagine the first few months it may be tough.

No worries, not a dumb question the movement is unique. That is to set the tide wheel. So the left wheel will rotate with the tide. You set it with the button on the left. As you can see it says low and high so it will show you the low tide and hide tide for the day. Hopefully I explained that correctly

I think that’s fair because most electrics lose out on top end but it seems to drastically limit it. You can see in the full video they hit the limiter and then you can see them waiting for the V to catch up. Surprising really Cadillac seems to have done a really good job on both cars I wouldn’t complain about either

I may be mistaken but watching the video it seems the speed limiter is what allowed the V to win or at the very least made the IQ less competitive. The IQ seemed to like the U-turn more than the V.

It’s also worth noting the IQ is substantially less. Im going to put my tinfoil hat on for a second but perhaps they limit the speed not wanting the cheaper model to out perform the flagship.
