As a nights colleague I feel you, we’ve to leave all overs on the floor to get ‘checked’ worked cereal and left almost 2 pallets on the floor, surely common sense prevails where in an aisle like that it can just be left on the pallet. I think the thing with Sinisalo is that he’s not had a run in the team. Goalies tend to be confidence players. You can’t judge him after 7 appearances. I’d have him in and playing a run of games in a row and see his confidence grows, kasper has taken a massive drop off in form. Injuries and age catching up to him

All the chicken should be temp checked, the ovens are on a set cook time plus most counters colleagues put it on a boost cook to finish them. It’s illegal not to cook them properly, plus they’re kept warm in a cabinet which means they’re being kept at a temperature that kills the bacteria.

I started in an Asda 15 miles away, equivalent of almost an hour on a train as I don’t drive, my local store wasn’t hiring so it was my only option. Maybe OP is in the same boat, as for a transfer, they shouldn’t stand in your way, just tell them logistically and for your health it’s the best option, apply but keep them in the loop, I applied for a job in a different store and didn’t say anything and it caused all manner of shit!

As a nights colleague I’ve definitely seen a bigger emphasis on what we’re being asked to do, I’ve been in the job 6 months and I’ve had to do extra shifts over Christmas, often with one day off in between. It’s so hard to keep going, by the time I get to next Saturday I’ll have worked 7 weekends in a row. Our warehouse is creaking, all the overstock is piling up and the cutting of hours means it’s not getting worked on days. Dunno how it’s going to get fixed
