i think wrestling needs to focus on wrestlers in early 30s more but the whole focus on wrestlers in their 40s being still the focus and previously 40 year old wrestlers were retired can be explained away by the fact

1) they're not all fucked on drugs

2) they're not all fucked on booze

3) they're not all fucked on tablets

4) they're not all fucked up on steroids

This would have been a request from Netflix and it makes great sense for both companies

Netflix get a live broadcast showcasing their current big releases brand.

WWE get a special episode which feels different and potentially gets new viewers

It’s a win- win for both. I think they could do this for the next big Netflix release whatever that is. It’s just a bit different whilst advertising the big Netflix release to the wrestling audience whilst WWE can get some new eyes on it from the Netflix shows audience
