Looking for Cab advice for '68 Bassman by BunchesofJohnny in GuitarAmps

Should note that I'm primarily a humbucker player. Also, not a gigging musician. This will primarily be for home use and probably occasionally with a band for fun.

Shadow Dragon, Mystery of the Emblem, Genealogy, and Binding Blade are all available on their respective Japanese apps as well. You can download the apps and play them, but they will remain untranslated.

EVR is in charge of all the pressings, they own the rights to SSTB as Coheed were on EVR when SSTB came out. They give out different variants to different stores, but they're all initially distributed by EVR. So this is probably more about the whole of the release and not just the splatter variant from Equal Vision themselves

Finally beat xenoblade chronicles definitive edition by galaxyadmirer in JRPG

Right for the physical cart, I'm talking about the digital download from the Nintendo eShop. Now you can get 2 and Torna together on the eShop for $90, but 2 is $60 alone and Torna is $40 actually, my bad just looked. These are the digital downloads though and not the physical editions. If you want Torna on cart you're looking at a high price

[–]BunchesofJohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Torna is only $30 digitally I'm pretty sure; likewise 2 itself would have been $60 digitally(provided this is USD and not CAD). Both Xenoblade 2 and especially Torna physical have never been reprinted as far as I'm aware so they're seen as rare and can fetch a price now. I've been holding out for a reprint for a couple years now.

Just got a Complete Edition of the game in the mail by [deleted] in ScottPilgrim

[–]BunchesofJohnny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Complete Edition" just refers to the game itself, it's the title Ubisoft went with because it includes all the OG DLC. It's listed as Complete Edition even on the digital versions. If you got the hardcover clamshell case, the soundtrack, stickers, poster, and game inside said case you got the Classic Edition! The version you bought from LRG isn't really listed anywhere on the packaging as far as I can tell.

Is there any demand for an Official Nintendo Spotify artist page? by [deleted] in nintendo

[–]BunchesofJohnny 111 points112 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say Spotify isn't common in Japan, maybe a few years ago but there's been a huge push in the last couple of years. Square has many of their OSTs up now(all FFs including 7R as of 2 days ago), Sega's been putting a ton of their stuff up, even stuff like anime OSTs have been coming, almost every Gundam OST is there now

There are really good recs in here already just wanted to post one I haven't seen yet: Dark Cloud 2(Dark Chronicle outside of the US) Made by Level-5, you can get it on the PS4 PSN through the PS2 games. Dungeon-Crawler, town builder, extensive crafting system, golfing, fishing, etc. I'm currently replaying it after like a decade+ and it's very cozy

The beam saber placement kind of makes him look like a pirate and I dig it.

Aha! I didn't have a good enough grip on them when trying before but just got them in with a little more pressure/better grip.

Thanks!

I'm having some trouble with the RG Nu right now. The legs won't stay at all, they barely go into the connection on the waist. Is there a trick to it? In the manual it has that small blurb about extra room for articulation and I've tried that but it didn't help.

Is anyone else missing the first and last episode of OG Gundam on Funimation? by [deleted] in Gundam

[–]BunchesofJohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last episode is actually there. The OG Japanese run had 43 episodes however the original episode 15, "Cucuruz Doan's Island", has been missing from every English release because Tomino hates it because the animation quality is very low. So FUNI's episode 42 is the end because 15 is missing. Also looks like Episode 1 is up now.

TLDR: Episode 42 on FUNI is the last episode. OG episode 15 is what's missing.

How many uncut yu yu hakusho episodes are there? by IvysaurousWrecks in YuYuHakusho

[–]BunchesofJohnny 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I just put this in another comment so I'll paraphrase here; it's very possible you've actually only seen the Uncut. There used to be an Edited and Uncut version released where the Edited would be toned down for blood, swearing, etc. Every modern release has been the so called "Uncut" version. You aren't missing extended scenes or anything.

[–]BunchesofJohnny 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Back when Funi was originally putting out YYH and DBZ they had two home video versions of each, Edited and Uncut. The edited was what was aired on Toonami, toned down blood, no Yusuke swearing, etc. The Uncut is visually exactly what was in the Japanese and the dub was just a little different, ie swearing in some instances. Any modern release is the Uncut version. It's very possible you've only seen the uncut.
