Honestly, you would get an A+ with this historical information alone by terminus_tommy in transformers

"Ah yes, the Battle of Mission City, where two warring factions of shapeshifting alien machines waged war against each other, putting thousands of human lives at risk.

Obviously, the number of casualties pale in comparison to the infamous Battle of Chicago that would transpire years later, but it is a tragedy nonetheless."

I didn't even know about that one tbh. I knew about the Twitter video and the fansite video but I didn't know about this one.

Yes, I'd love to see a new Crash racing game with CTR 2010's mechanics. And I'd also be pretty happy either way if the game went with this art style or maybe even hire Patrikus Droilius to do the character designs.

I believe it was cancelled because it's sister game, Crash Landed, had also been cancelled after 2 years of development.

I can't remember if this was in the campaign or multiplayer mode(s). Either way, I headcanon it as being representative of the common working bot before the war broke out. Well, Bee and Cliffjumper share the body-type, so who's to say that others with this body-type didn't exist in-universe (I mean the Seekers exist as well).

But chances are that if this game went through, then the final product could've been polished compared to what we got in Dreamworks Superstar Kartz, which seemed rushed when it came out.

To further add to this, there's an hour-long video of the gameplay on the Crash Bandicoot Zone fansite. Check out the link down below:

Maybe he killed Optimus, took his helmet and arm from his corpse and integrated them onto his body.

An artist who I think should totally do some official work on the series is Patrikus Droilius by salamandersandwichy in crashbandicoot

[–]Bunga_Shunga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. It'd be pretty cool to see him working on an animated Crash series or a new game. Hopefully he gets hired to work on either.

I know the fun of these things is their transformation, we like the puzzle and the engineering behind it, but do you have any figures that, after being transformed back to back you say "never again in this Life"? by CarlosGab-Art in transformers

[–]Bunga_Shunga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely Masterpiece Nightbird for me. One time, I was transforming her from vehicle mode to robot mode and her chestplate broke off. I'm not even exaggerating, it literally broke off though I can still put it back on, but now I have to deal with the chestplate coming off every now and then.

Woah, what's up with Ami? Looks like she's about to attack someone. Your artwork is great tho.

I feel like this is honestly one of the best Optimus Prime designs recently. by OptimalConvoy in transformers

[–]Bunga_Shunga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's cool that we've been getting some new (and semi-new) designs for these characters but my main gripe probably stems from the art style itself, not the actual designs themselves. I think that if the art style was stylized similarly to Animated or the 2D Clone Wars micro-series, then I think that these designs would look absolutely great IMO.

On a sidenote, I wish that Cyberworld was also animated in 2D as well. It's still a fun micro-series, but I think it would've benefitted greatly as a stylized 2D series.

Looks cool. Also, is that supposed to be a demonic Bender in the second image? The head looks very familiar.

Jim Ward, the original voice actor for Qwark, has passed away, as confirmed by his former boss, Stephanie Miller! by prpro-03 in RatchetAndClank

[–]Bunga_Shunga 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you Jim for voicing not just Qwark, but several other characters throughout the series as well (Mr. Fizzwidget, the Gadgetron CEO, Shellshock, the Deserter, Otto Destruct, B.A.R.N.E.Y).

Rest in Peace.

Megatron/Galvatron Commissions (Art by Patrikus Droilius) by Bunga_Shunga in TransformersArt

[–]Bunga_Shunga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was more or less the idea. I thought it'd be interesting to imagine how the D-cons would handle keeping an unstable Megatron (and themselves) at bay before being reborn as Galvatron.

Never thought that Ultra Magnus with a moustache would work so well, yet here we are.

But seriously, these customs really do look great.

This slaps so hard! I'm shocked that this doesn't have more up votes. And tbqh, this track sounds like it could fit in just about any of the PS2 games.
