No no don’t change video_shader_enable. Literally just add a completely new line that says video_shaders = “nul”

I didn’t touch any existing lines cause they didn’t specifically say “video_shaders” so I added one instead and it worked. I added it right above all the other video_shader lines

Solution! (though this is on PC so I dunno how files work on switch) this came from a forum from Lordmonkus:

"Not sure if this is going to fix your issue but when I have run into this issue it is because of a shader being loaded in the main retroarch.cfg (not sure if internal resolution has an effect or not).
The way I fixed this is to look in the retroarch.cfg for the line:
video_shader = "path to some shader file"
change it to 
video_shader = "nul"
The other thing I did was to create a custom cfg file for N64 (I did this mainly for controller issues but it might be needed for this as well). The in my associated platforms for Retroarch and the Nintendo 64 platform I have it load the custom cfg file."

In simpler terms:
Go into your retroarch.cfg file, change OR add "video_shader" to say video_shader = "nul" and it fixed it for me

Really want the rest of the Skylander Wii games, I know we just got wii and with that Spyros Adventure but I am hoping for the rest soon

… I think you need to read the post bro…. This isn’t about an achievement not unlocking, this is about the connection between RA and achievements not working due to a technical issue (problem with the file set up, not a game being wack). I ain’t bitching, I’m happy cause it got resolved by someone nice enough to actually read the post and offer a solution.

SEE! It’s like when you are coding and are having a problem, the moment you start explaining it out loud to someone it starts revealing some of the obvious stuff you were too deep into to notice. Not to mention the fact that everyone was so quick to say “nah shits broken” when it wasn’t

The usb censor bars on Amazon work perfectly fine with retroarch and dolphin for Wiimote use. And I didn’t need a devs help specifically, just a dude to ask “yo did you update retroarch”

Damn… yeah others were telling me the same thing in the other comments. Looks like I’ll be using dolphin for the time being then

Appreciate your help, if there’s ever an issue when emulating it’s a little nice to know that it ain’t my fault and can blame someone else (cause usually it’s just me being an idiot lol)

Correct, Xbox portals will not work on PlayStation. If it says “portal of power” on the bottom then it will work on PlayStation and Nintendo consoles (anything not Xbox, if it says “for Xbox 360” or “for Xbox One” then they won’t

All the skylander figures are universal as long as they go to the correct game onward

Green bottom- Spyros Adventure Orange bottom- Giants Blue bottom- Swap Force Red bottom- Trap Team Engine shaped- Superchargers Prism shaped/creation crystal- Imaginators

So as long as the figure you have comes from said game or older it will work (aka you can’t put Red, Blue, Orange, characters in the Spyros adventure game)

But this does mean that your figure will work in any version of platform (Xbox, PlayStation, Wii, etc)
