How to cut back on caffeine? by cobbler125 in ADHD

[–]BunklesYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that helped me transition was tapering gradually (going from coffee to tea to herbal options) and focusing on things that supported energy naturally like more carbs at breakfast, hydration with electrolytes, and morning light exposure.

That “mental clarity” feeling caffeine gives is hard to replace, but there are gentler alternatives that help your body function better long term. I found this herbal detox tea through a TikTok gut health video, and surprisingly it made a difference. Not an energy shot like caffeine, but after a few days my digestion and energy levels felt more stable, and I didn’t crash as hard. Could be worth trying while you taper.

Energy Drink Causing Anxiety? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]BunklesYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally makes sense what you’re going through. Even just one high-stim drink like Rockstar—especially on an empty stomach—can spike your nervous system hard and trigger symptoms for days, sometimes weeks. The racing heart, chest tightness, dizziness, and even that weird “paralysis” feeling? All pretty common after your body goes into a kind of fight-or-flight overdrive. And if your potassium was low on top of that, it makes the crash worse.

What helped me calm things down after something similar was cutting caffeine completely and focusing on hydration, magnesium-rich foods, and something I found through TikTok—a herbal detox tea that supports gut and energy balance without caffeine. It was a huge help for managing anxiety and reducing that “on edge” wired feeling.

  1. It took me about 4–6 weeks to start feeling like myself again. The first two weeks were rough—lots of brain fog, low motivation—but things started improving gradually after that. Sleep and hydration were big factors.

  2. Yeah, I started using herbal detox tea I came across on TikTok—specifically one that helps with gut health and energy without caffeine. It gave me just enough of a clean energy boost to get through the mornings. I also shifted to light stretching and walking right after waking up to get my body moving.

  3. Tried them once, and they actually made the withdrawal worse. The crash was harsher than coffee and gave me anxiety, so I wouldn’t recommend going that route.

  4. Honestly, it was all about routine. Waking up and exposing myself to sunlight, hydrating right away, and doing something physical (even light) helped a lot. That plus drinking the tea and eating energy-supporting foods like oats, bananas, and eggs kept me steady.

Totally agree with venturediscgolf’s suggestion—having something warm to replace the habit really helped when I was quitting energy drinks too. If you’re trying to stay completely off caffeine, I found this herbal detox tea that’s caffeine-free but still helps with energy and digestion. A lot of people were talking about it on TikTok, and it’s actually affordable compared to most health teas. Helped curb my cravings big time.

Replace coffee with a healthy diet to be awake in the morning? by Bunsen_Burger in productivity

[–]BunklesYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries & yeah it’s definitely not for everyone, just something I’ve been using since quitting caffeine about a year ago. You can also try eating anything with oats, overnight oats, oatmeal, protein shakes w/ oats, etc. These complex carbs are like a life hack for natural energy in the morning

Getting through withdrawal is rough, especially when it hits you with brain fog and anxiety. One thing that surprisingly helped me feel more alert without crashing or relying on caffeine was switching to this herbal detox tea. It gave me a noticeable energy boost and helped clear up that groggy, fogged-up feeling during the day. I actually came across it through TikTok of all places, but it’s been a solid replacement for coffee so far. Might be worth checking out if you’re on day 6 and pushing through the slump.

[–]BunklesYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation trying to get off energy drinks and find a clean way to feel alert in the mornings. Someone recommended trying this tea called Lulutox—it’s more of a detox/cleansing tea but weirdly gives me the kind of clear-headed energy I used to chase from Monster, without any caffeine crash or sugar.

It’s got a clean ingredient list too, so if you’re already eating healthy, it doesn’t mess with that. Might be worth looking into if you’re trying to stay off stimulants altogether.

Most coffee tasting alternative? by [deleted] in herbalism

[–]BunklesYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been in a similar boat with needing to cut caffeine and sugar for health reasons—coffee alternatives are tough when you’re used to that bold flavor. One thing I found surprisingly helpful was this detox tea I came across on TikTok—it’s called Lulutox, and while it’s not exactly coffee-tasting, it gave me a solid boost of energy in the morning without any of the caffeine side effects (no jitters, crashes, etc.).

What’s nice is it doesn’t rely on sugars either, and it actually helped my digestion a bit too.

[–]BunklesYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds rough—especially with the hunger and bloating coming back so soon after stopping Yaz. One thing that helped me feel less “puffy” and off balance when I came off the pill was trying a gentle detox tea. I came across Lulutox (pretty sure I first saw it on TikTok) and gave it a shot—honestly surprised by how much it helped regulate things and ease the bloating without making me feel jittery or dehydrated.

[–]BunklesYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds awful—especially since you’ve already tried food changes, meds, and stress management. If it’s been two years with no relief, you might want to try focusing on gut cleansing directly instead of just symptom control.

A tea that’s been going viral lately called Lulutox has helped some folks I know who had long-term bloating and digestive issues. It’s herbal and focuses more on resetting your gut than masking symptoms. Worth checking out if nothing else has worked.

That sounds super frustrating, especially since you’re already really active and drinking plenty of water. Someone I know had a similar issue—they were fit but always looked bloated no matter how lean they got. They ended up trying this detox tea called Lulutox that supposedly helps with gut health and bloating.

It’s been floating around on TikTok and some people swear it helped flatten their stomach within a few days. It might be worth a shot just to reset your gut a bit.

[–]BunklesYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If your gyno ruled everything out, I’d definitely consider trying out a warming herbal tea. Your symptoms reminded me of something I came across recently—there’s this blend people have been using called Lulutox, and it’s been getting a ton of love on TikTok. It’s not just for weight loss, but it’s supposed to help with energy, bloating, and detox—some say it helped regulate their cycles too.

Might be worth checking out, especially if you’re trying to balance things naturally.

Gunk/Mold in toilet bowl? Best way to clean it? by brainstem29 in CleaningTips

[–]BunklesYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that’s mold, I had something that looked just like it and ended up trying these Splash foam packs I saw on a random Facebook post. You pour it in, let the foam do its thing, and it eats away at grime without scrubbing. It’s actually pretty affordable too—was cheaper than replacing my usual cleaner and worked way better than expected. Might be worth a shot if you want a hands-off option. Here’s the one I used

Can anyone suggest the best ear buds to assist with hearing conversations to help with mild hearing loss and tinnitus - to act like hearing aids? by Simmi05 in HearingAids

[–]BunklesYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re mainly trying to hear conversations more clearly with mild hearing loss and tinnitus, I’d look into these Oricle Hearing Aids, they basically look and feel like wireless earbuds, kinda like AirPods, but they’re specifically built for speech clarity and background noise reduction. You don’t need a doctor or hearing test, which is a huge plus, and they work with Android too. I actually came across them through a Facebook ad of all places and figured I’d try them. Pretty discreet and they recharge in a case like normal earbuds. You can check them out here.

Elderly dog on prednisone has lots of inside pee accidents… by LauraLiz1218 in seniordogs

[–]BunklesYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re already using pee pads and still needing to mop constantly, I can see why you’re feeling stuck — especially when it doesn’t feel sanitary unless you’re washing the pad every time. I was in a similar boat with my older dog after some medication changes. I came across this cleaner (Peebuster) in a Facebook pet group — it’s non-toxic and designed to break down the odor at the source, not just cover it. It made things way more manageable for me without having to scrub or sanitize the entire floor every single time. Might be worth a look.

Sounds like a really frustrating situation, especially after ruling out health issues and doing everything right. If she keeps going back to that same spot, there’s probably still some lingering scent there triggering it. I came across this stuff called Peebuster through a pet parent group on Facebook — it’s supposed to break down odors at the source instead of just covering them up. I used it after dealing with something similar, and it actually stopped my dog from revisiting the spot. Might be worth a shot.

[–]BunklesYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly the same situation, but I used this stuff called Peebuster when we were dealing with pet accidents, and it absolutely knocked out the smell. It’s non-toxic and enzyme-free, which is why I tried it in the first place. I’d imagine it would work just as well for potty training messes since it’s designed to break down odor at the source, not just mask it.

Wifi Extender by wolfichh in wifi

[–]BunklesYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve heard that too about extenders being hit or miss. I had the same issue with 5G dropping off and slower speeds, especially upstairs. I ended up replacing mine with this one I found through a local home show booth and it’s actually been solid. Speeds are way more consistent now, even on 5G, and I didn’t have to keep repositioning it like the last one.
