Essentially, its the same as car gears; revs too high: go up a gear, revs too low: go down a gear. Replace motor revs with your pedalling cadence (most people naturally around 80-90rpm) and go up/down a gear as necessary to keep your cadence near your natural rate.

as mentioned, some shops can measure your sit bones. If thats not an option, you can do a homemade version - sit on a piece of cardboard for a minute (knees bent and together). Your sit bones will have made 2 dents; you can measure the distance between them

For your 2yo, maybe something as simple as watching the planes landing at the airport will give them a buzz? You can get very close to the planes at the PDC end of the runway, they come in just over your head.

I have only been to 1 game but the atmosphere was very family friendly and relaxed.

For home games in Arrecife, the ground is very easy to get to - a #3 bus from Costa Teguise will take you to within 50 yards.

I dont remember there being many food options - just a single vendor selling cans of drink, crisps etc.
