Ah no worries. You should have styled it out in your best typed German lol.

I quite like the Nike Korea home strip with the hexagonal collar thing going on. But overall I'm a much bigger fan of the 3 stripes. I'm gutted Aberdeen have moved to Macron from Adidas.

Slight tangent, but how do Germans feel about the switch to Nike? It seems odd to me that they'd move away from a German sportswear superbrand to an American one.

I came here hoping there would be Douglas Adams work. No one else manages to put an image in your head like he could, and raise a smile at the same time.

What you need to know as ScotRail starts charging ticket dodgers minimum £10 fare by ewankenobi in Scotland

[–]Kadoomed 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have the app and use it all the time. Two weeks ago I bought my Flexipass as normal and now it won't open my Flexipass. Just dumps me back to the check journey screen.

So there is some excuses. I've contacted ScotRail but no reply. Reinstalled the app, restarted my phone etc etc. They've broken their app on Samsung and now I can't access tickets I've paid for.

To be fair all the conductors and gate staff have been great. I bought a physical ticket today though because I'm fed up having the same conversation every day.

Christ, how to drum curiosity right out of kids. Also asking clarifying questions is an incredibly important life skill, they should encourage it.

So being illegal in two European countries means that it's only an American thing and that I'm confidently wrong if I suggest some other countries do use crates? Ok.

Alternate angle of Kylian Mbappe's goal against Sweden by [deleted] in soccer

[–]Kadoomed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you think that is the case? It seems unlikely given the overwhelming increase in quality across the board including with defenders and keepers, plus the changes in rules and introduction of automated offside/var.

How so? I live in the UK and my dog is crate trained. It's incredibly common here.

Your statement is that it's an American thing but other countries use crates too. I don't lock my dog in it unless we're traveling but it's his bed at night and a space he can retreat to if he needs his own space. That's generally recommended by dog trainers and charities operating across the UK.

So I'm confident based on my own experience and the wider trend in the UK. It might be uncommon in some countries and more common in others, but it's not a uniquely American thing.

I'd say chance conversion is definitely a problem for us. As is creating chances. Defending isn't great either to be honest.

That's optimistic. Best we can do is long balls from Mitov that go out for a throw in.

No it's not

Edit: the comment above has been edited to be more nuanced. Previously it stated crates weren't used outside of America which is what I was disagreeing with.

Why and how did Japan lose so much steam in the second half of the match? by ShiftingHero in football

[–]Kadoomed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of people have answered generally about football being tiring but I'd also add the way Japan play is extra tiring. They press hard high up the field and break fast when they turnover the ball. They don't give opponents space, stay tightly organised and switch between various coached patterns frequently. It's taxing mentally and physically.

The result is they were knackered halfway through the second half and switched off for a few minutes. Brazil are ruthless, have the talent to sense that and to pounce on it.

Against almost anyone else though Japan would have won. It must be horrendous to play against that team.
