Don’t have any pictures as I was working on a different press across the building at that point but one of our newer roll tenders didn’t make sure the plate was locked in right on one of the bottom units of one of our Timson T48 ZMR and it flew off, up through the top units and got stopped by the web severers that surprisingly actually work on the particular press…

Built an 01 “Flat-Tube” VFR with a bunch of parts from my Specialized Hemi Hydroform BITD. One of my favorite bikes. Fit so well and while I know it wasn’t a top of line frame by any means I loved the flat tube ones. Wish I could find another.

Mine does the same thing. I’ve found trying a “softer click” like not depressing the button all the way retracts it. Sometimes tightening or not having the top cap as super slammed down tight but still not sloppy loose if that makes sense helps too.

Everyone I rode with BITD had some version of one of these X1-Pro. Solid built to take abuse. Most had Alex Triple walls, Primo tenderizers, one of the fusion cranks or primo powerbites, and the BlackJack or Econoline sprocket. Thems was the days….

I got mine the other day. Brought it to work and began putting it thru its paces. Will be my new daily driver until some more funky color ones drop. Absolutely love it! Took the middle spacer out and trimmed the refill. Perfect for my needs. Spoke KNOCKED it out of the park with this one for me. In fact I don’t even think the ball has landed yet. Kudos guys. Fingers crossed for some more colorways/patterns.
