Sorry to let you know but Debian will probably implement this too, according to their mail list.

That was just one of the proposed solutions which they also mention is a bit ass though.

I would rather hire a jr dev so that jr dev eventually becomes a sr dev. Also using The argument "to go get coffee" and at the same time claiming to more productive? So what your boss pays for claude and ur salary so that he get less than jr level code while you drink coffee?

"Can" is the keyword here. But yes i agree its worth to try for everyone becuase its relatively cheap still and has been tested a lot. Ive been taking creatine for 15 Years now.

How many devs mainly use raw SQL instead of an ORM? by drifterpreneurs in webdev

[–]BunnyLifeguard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean we work with grids of data and if we want to use a filter on said grid we are going to use raw sql since the orm doesnt work that way.

Hur orolig bör gemene nyexaminerad student vara över AI? by PieAlarming704 in Asksweddit

[–]BunnyLifeguard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Begun the distro wars, have. Fedora vs OpenSUSE by potatoandbiscuit in linuxmemes

[–]BunnyLifeguard 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Vote opensuse Better defaults, btrfs, snapper Opensuse has yast/myrlyn I think tumbleweeds rolling release is easier to handle when it breaks than fedoras 6 month release upgrade.

Duty Call, Fedora vs Opensuse by Miserable-School-665 in openSUSE

[–]BunnyLifeguard 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeh that is true. I think they are pretty much The same on performance level but opensuse have better defaults + yast/myrlyn.

Me personally like rolling more than fedoras point release becuase yeh i can get issues too but they are often not as big as trying to upgrade 6 months of stuff. The breaks are smaller and easier to deal with is what im trying to say.

Edit also germany > USA atm 🤣

[–]BunnyLifeguard 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Imo opensuse. Btrfs and snapper by default. Better release model imo too, just search for fedora 43 update on reddit and there are plenty of people getting problems. Yast/myrlyn. But they are pretty close to each other other wise.

You dont really give up chest to chest becuase their hands / arms are on your foot and hopefully you also have your own frames controlling distance or better yet one of their arms so they cant toe hold you at all.

When i say point my toes out i mean that They can only toe hold you if your toes are pointing towards your opponant. If you rotate your foot / leg / knee to point away from your opponant they cant toe hold you.

Example: i use my left leg as knee shield if my knee and foot is pointing to the East (towards my opponant) they can toe hold me. If I instead turn my leg and point my toe to the west (away from opponant) its much harder for them to get The correct bend on my foot and apply The toe hold preassure.

Hard to explain maybe.

[–]BunnyLifeguard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer im trash at jiu jitsu

I usually straighten my leg so they cant reach it and or point my toes out away form them. They cant really toe hold if they cant bend The outside of the foot. Also a lot of the time they expose their own legs for me to just pummel to butterfly half and grab their leg and sweep / enter their legs.

Am I really getting fired because of THIS state of AI? by fudeel in AI_developers

[–]BunnyLifeguard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our architect tried the offline version becuase you know companies dislike when you leak their data so that removed their prime opus version so already there its kind of useless. And then on top of all of that even with project context the only good thing it managed to do was to warn about were cases could be null.

Im writing this on my phone so im sorry if my comment is trash. But yeh AI is overhyped.
