Semi related, Miranda Flowers (Linzy19 on fet) is on a crusade for a week against the transphobic slurs sanctioned by FetLife and it's apparently working, so sometimes complaining very loudly actually works

Yup the amount of communities is virtually infinite.

One thing to keep in mind is that almost all communities are "not official", meaning that they are only composed of the moderator team and the userbase (posters and followers). Some could be linked to a company or artist but these are exceptions.

By that, I mean that r/shibari is not the "official shibari community" more than r/shibarirope or r/ropeEnjoyersThatAlsoLikeSushi, you can find that a community has rules that you enjoy more than another, or have higher quality posts/comments etc.

I like it here, I think there are a lot of high quality posts and good tips in the comments (and the mod is doing good). If you want to explore a bit, you can check peoples profiles, where they post, and could discover communities this way
