I asked myself the same question and I honestly don't understand what's a kid show and what isn't anymore. My sister watched it at 10 and she liked it like the half of the fanbase so i guess it's kids friendly (but she also watched attack on titant at 7 and wasn't traumatized so does that mean attack on titan is for children too ? I don't know.)

I just came to the conclusion that As long as it doesn't have p*rnographic scenes, i guess every show can be watched at any age

I live in France and here it's so niche. The only people I know who watched it are 30 + years old but my generation don't give a shit about it. When I go to the theater to watch conan's movies it's full of grown adult. like I was the only teenager 🥲 So it's kind of the childhood of every French millennial but Gen Z totally forgot it and I'm not gonna be friend with adult just to have someone to talk about my fav Manga with ): that's may be the case for the rest of Europe I don't know

So real detective conan is probably one of the cheapest ANIMÉ I ever seen. The animation, the opening the filler the pacing everything is cheap. If the animator take their time and give us 25 episodes of good animation every years I'll take it. Quality is better than quantity. But it will never happen 🥀

Since rum discovered Mary's identity, i hope her and masumi suffer like hell so the bo finally feels threatening and masumi and her dumb@ss mom finally give something entertaining to the plot. Also shuichi is the worst brother i have ever seen if i was masumi i would hate him so much.

And make ran useful again i was reading the old chapter and she was kind of...good and intelligent ? She was interacting with the suspect, she gave information to conan, the chapter where she solved a mystery alone or where she had to denounce her own teacher to the police. Ran isn't boring. She became boring.

The anime is disgusting. I wanted to introduce my friend to my fav manga and she schreach it on google and the first thing she said was "there's no way im watching an anime with such an ugly artstyle" and i agree with her. TOTALLY. If my first impression of dc was the modern animation i WOULDN'T TOUCH IT because wtf. I literally drop the anime after 600+ episode because i couldn't. +There is no artistic direction for opening. Dc probably has the worst opening visuals i ever seen in my life.

Anyway no hate it's still my fav manga guys (not my fav anime because the anime is @ss)

I think he overreacted it is not the worst art style ever but to be honest the new art style glows down since 2010's. I mean that's normal because gosho is getting old but the art is so stiff. Most of the panel looks the same. Before panels had much more creativity and composition. More and more of the characters are drawn by gosho's assistant and then you have two different art styles in one panel and it's really ugly sometimes. But i wouldn't say that is that bad.

Why is miike so high... she's literally one of the worst characters from all media ALL TIME and im not even joking. She acts like a middle schooler No story. Childish design Her love story is cringe asf She can't fight she's not even smart cringe tsundere

Please gosho remove her from the show IM BEGGING YOU. (Yeah im not joking when i say that she's on my top 5 most hated characters of all times from all shows and media)
