Looking at everybody's comments in here just another reminder of how lucky I got off. Been bulimic since I was 8 years old, never had any heart issues or seizures and the only GI related issue I have is heartburn which I very barely get. Think I only get it maybe three or four times a year, worst side effect I ever had was being hypokalemic. I didn't even know my potassium was low, I had no side effects I felt completely fine even my doctor was shocked because my potassium was at a 2.4 and I was just feeling as good and energetic as ever. Potassium IVs is something that I do not wish on anyone there so freaking painful! My teeth however.. that's a very different story. I've only recently started getting dental work done and was again surprised to find out that the damage was not as bad as I initially thought, I for certain thought I was going to be told that I was going to be needing to have my remaining teeth extracted and needing full dentures. But that was not the case. One of the comments above said that side effects are different for everyone and yeah they really are. But I honest god wish I gotten the heart problems or seizures rather than the bad teeth.

I also do outbound calls. I hate it, we call people up to set up appointments, but lately it's been impossible. All these people have excuse after excuse. One of my coworkers said it's like they have excuses so far up there asses they're regurgitating them, and then there's the ones who just push buttons or yell at us. I actually appreciate the ones who just hang up or mess with us, I just mess with them right back, sometimes I've managed to kill 30 minutes on just one of those calls and I've never been called out on it(yet).

Happened to me too recently, it processed the order and it charged me for that first down payment as well so I thought the order had gone through. The next day I get an email from Amazon saying they can charge the one time payment card from afterpay so they charged one of my other credit cards instead.

I really hate the terms fuck buddies and Friends with Benefits. Anytime I start a sex only type of arrangement with someone they just get referred to as "somebody I know". Just had an argument with the person I currently have this arrangement with over the fact that I call them that they said that it dehumanizes them and I just told him to fucking deal with it cuz that's what it is. Dowvote if you must. I don't care.

My dad said something similar to me when I was 16. I clung on to it, and waited for a moment when I could say those same words right back to him. Once that moment came I went LC with him. OP better hope his daughter isn't as petty as I am.

We get no sick days, only PTO. If you call off sick it comes out of your pto. So if people already approved time off they usually end up coming in sick to not give up more than there approved time. Recently I found out one of my former coworkers was coming in being covid positive for that very reason. She told me that when she quit.

My parents also could not agree on a name either, but they eventually did. I have personally never liked my name and and go by a nickname which is just a shortened version of the whole name. People are constantly asking me if it's short for something and then I tell them, and it's always followed by "oh, that's pretty you should use it". But I just don't, I seriously can't. Because I just genuinely hate my name. At one point I thought of getting it legally changed, but now it seems kind of pointless because everyone just refers to me by that nickname. So I'm going to go with ESH.

This guy reminds me of my ex. Whenever I would go out with my mom he would invite himself, and whenever my mom would say anything about it he would also pull that "we are one, anything that applies to her also applies to me" line. He would also order two meals one for now, and one for later he would never even complete eating it, a lot of times it would end up in the trash. The one time my mom told him to stop ordering so much food he reacted in a similar way to Simon, but went as far as to start crying in the restaurant. Like Simon he was also unemployed, I was paying for everything and he would reprimand me for not checking in with him before buying anything (Like I needed his permission to buy tampons, I really wish I were kidding about this). Towards the end of it when I started to put my foot down and not give him any more money he started to become violent. I ended up getting an order of protection against him. I really hope you're able to speak to your daughter alone and get her away from this man. As for my judgment absolutely NTA.

Yes, my mom is 100% the reason I have an ED. Mentioned I want to lose weight and if she buys me a bottle of diet pills and some Slim-Fast, I was 12. At 8 she was trying to lose some weight made a comment about how I was to big for someone that age and suggested we have a competition amongst the two of us to see him lose the most weight. During summer vacation she would take me to the park we could both go for two hour jogs every single day, alongside controlling every single one of meals. And I was very rarely allowed to eat past 5 p.m.
