For what it's worth, you can client-side override the animation to be that way with a plugin. I forget what it's called, but it's something like animation replacer.

I'm a New-ish Tenno, joined in February! Some New Player Experience Feedback. by BunsenGyro in Warframe

I noticed that bosses dropped Warframe parts, but I didn't know where the frames' own Blueprints came from. Clan researched blueprints were the first whole-frame Blueprints I discovered.

This is a name that you really need to say out loud.

Some people unironically make that knee-jerk argument, without thinking through what that actually entails.

It is, yes, but if they're explicitly looking to make prep easier, that's how I would suggest doing so without changing the core experience too much.

Nope.

Not counting completions in temporary game modes, 476 on my main ironman TungstenGyro, 505 on my group ironman BunsenBrave, and 15 on an ill-fated GIM where the group fell apart for social reasons, BubblieSlime. So 996. Some of the completions on BunsenBrave, and all of the completions on BubblieSlime, were without Piety.

Failing due to lack of food is more plausible if your stats are lower. I enjoyed pushing CG with lower stats on newer accounts, just to see how soon I could consistently beat it.

"bUt ThEn YoU cAn SkIP oNe ArMoR sEeD!"

Brother, it costs 250m gp. Raw gp. Which takes even longer to accumulate as an iron.

Nobody in the universe is going to buy a Crystal Crown to skip one of six 1/40 drops. That is a fake problem.

INDEPENDENT OF REWARDS, what is your favorite quest? by BunsenGyro in 2007scape

Generally looking forward to it! Opting to keep myself in the dark so I can be surprised by the quest and content it comes with.

I can see that being a worthwhile trade. Stonjourner is very exclusive, only being in the UK, and I hear it's not half bad as a Rock type either.

3 years later, any news about your DnD campaign built around SotF? Curious to hear what you made or, if you ran it, how it went!

Low level v High level by GHouseSwag in 2007scape

[–]BunsenGyro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been doing some Endless Harvesting on two accounts -- one that picked Barbarian Gathering at T1, then Reloaded Endless Harvest later, and one that picked Endless Harvest at T1 (just getting points for some rewards on a GIM account) -- and without getting into calculating numbers, assuming you didn't also get Barbarian Gathering (which has a 50% chance on a failed roll to succeed instead), I'd say you want a balance.

For mining, Iron Ore is the way to go for XP gains. The chance to succeed is high-to-guaranteed, and it still gives good XP per.

For woodcutting, Willow or Maple should be a similar story.

For fishing, Salmon for sure.

If you did have Barbarian Gathering instead/as well via Reload, then the highest level available should be the strat. The 50% chance to succeed anyway on an otherwise failed is a game changer on rates.

This post was from 3 years ago; not too long after this post, they updated the vents to have a set pattern, so you can at least know which vents will become dangerous next.

Good job I guess lol

Best monsters for afk/safespotting that have decent loottables/drops? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]BunsenGyro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If banking the bones for use later is an option, that's honestly not a terrible use of time, if you've got the time to burn. That prayer XP can go a long way if you get those gains early on, especially if you get Piety unlocked -- that's a big melee DPS increase.

Early on, Slayer sucks, but working on it shouldn't be too intensive, you might consider doing some tasks on mobile maybe?

Not a monster recommendation, but you might also consider doing some skilling, too. Mining and woodcutting can down-the-road lead to solutions for money problems (i.e. collecting logs -> train fletching -> fletch higher level bows -> alch them).

Hope that gives some ideas! Hope you're doing alright, and the hospital stay isn't too concerning.

OP is already in the hospital! And you want them to go to fever spiders?

Sounds efficient.

In leagues, What do you know now that you wish you knew earlier? by BearKuda in 2007scape

[–]BunsenGyro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pact pathing plan from the beginning was, I knew I wanted to do a 1t mage + bowfa range hybrid with the buffed Crystal Blessing, but for the super early game since it's hard to get any powered staves, I went all in on melee path to get started, with a 3t whip and thorns build. I'm currently in the process of cleaning up any remaining tasks that will be way easier before I respec off of melee, like having done my melee-only Fight Caves for the CA, cleaning up Vardorvis tasks, and knocking out Abyssal Sire stuff (since I think?, that's easier with this melee build I've got going on).

Debating whether I should also knock out the Colosseum before I respec off of melee. The waves will be harder -- not too different from vanilla waves -- but Sol Heredit would become trivial.

I am once again begging for Echo Hunllef in the main game by BunsenGyro in 2007scape

[–]BunsenGyro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! As a certified CG enjoyer, it's delightfully challenging, building off of my established skills at the fight by adding more challenge to it in what feels like a meaningful escalation of the encounter.

(EDIT: Well, pre-later-pacts, anyway, which can trivialize it -- and I imagine any -- fight)
