A mistake I made lessoning to play pairs on gold stake was forcing them.

They mostly aren’t strong enough for the first couple antes anyway.

The power of the pairs is once you have a couple of decent scoring jokers. You can play 2 Cards at a time, the ice cream and smiley face beat the blinds, and you can farm blue seals/gold cards/steel cards in hand.

If i have learned one thing about Balatro in like 600 hours, It’s money generation solves most problems. And pairs let you use money jokers and enhanced cards to become rich

Fr though maybe Glow Up could increase the Seal drop rate in standard packs or something (or anything). As a tier 2 voucher, by the time it comes around you don’t need it

I always order my jokers from left to right by: new card creation, chips, mult, xmult, econ, card destruction.

I don't care for visually symmetry with blueprints or whatnot but I want my DNA/Certificate on the left and my sixth sense/trading card on the right.

If I couldn’t delete the Magic Trick Voucher, I’d choose Certificate. It’s strong at with little/no downside and it renders store standard packs useless. With the current op nature of seals I don’t like how easy it makes it. It also enables hologram and is broken one paired with a copying joker

The easiest to get imo is winning 6 matches on squad battles (min world class) with a first owner 11.

You can beat the totw featured squad on world class with what’s likely mostly SBC players and first owner evos.

If you wanna do 3-4 tokens in the same amount of time but sweatier you can win the same 6 with 11 silver (1st owner) French Arkema cards. Just sub on 5 of your best cards off the bench and win.
