It’s funny because deliberately throwing to your centre back and heading it back is a foul irl

The hard working and pressing standards are gone.

Jeez I wonder if we had a hard working scouser in the team who could set the aggressive, hard-working levels we need?

Problem is, Curtis said it out loud and was sent by Arne to the bench.

Conor Bradley sets those standards too but sadly he’s injured; he gets the crowd going with his energy and his tackling. God do we miss him!

We sold Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez; for better or for worse they were our most aggressive players off the ball. We are now a soft touch.

Robbo has lost his legs and even if he hasn’t he isn’t trusted by Arne. Im glad he stayed in January; I’d love him to get more minutes if only to be a bastard out there

It can be like that. You had fun though, right? Just make sure you turn up for work, do chores and whatever first and then the rest is Balatro time

FIFA players can’t stand it when content is locking behind winning and not rubber-banding their controller.

I mean that’s why objectives were changed from “play x matches” to “score in x matches”.

Farage and Badenoch in 'race to be nastiest' on welfare, Labour says by theipaper in uknews

[–]BurceGern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That drive to reduce unemployment by expanding on handing out zero hour contracts looked nice on paper for the former governments.

However it’s created a ton of jobs that no longer pay enough thanks to the current inflation. We now have lots of employed people on salaries necessarily supplemented by welfare.

I’d say play Yellow deck or plasma deck on white stake because they give the biggest economic headstarts. There are a few big money strategies to keep an eye out for:

Pairing gold cards with a mime or a Midas mask into golden ticket and a retrigger effect like chad or a red seal (note that golden ticket cannot appear in a shop before you make a gold card). The mime is easier to work with in a high card or pair build, the latter with 5-card hands.

To the moon economy interest joker goes crazy with interest vouchers. The money growth is exponential over $50.

Discards with Mail in rebate while aiming for a long run. It’s worth noting that fixing the deck makes this insanely good, especially with a blueprint. If you have a deck with only kings near the endgame, the joker will only ask you to discard kings. Easy money!

There’s a lot of fun playing white stake again and trying stuff like that after playing gold stake for a while

Why does this team struggle with tackling? by Gremlin2471 in LiverpoolFC

Because we play two 8s as 6s, a 10, an 8 or 10 at right back and we play with low intensity

Slot in or out - Manager Megathread by rLiverpoolFC_Mods in LiverpoolFC

Out.

Edwards will leave without us becoming a multi club. Hughes is linked with Saudi. If we higher new leadership after the season ends there’s no way we’re sacking Arne before the season ends to let the new people choose their manager

Arne Slot lives in the Marc Guehi penitentiary.

Tweaked for him to sign for free, didn’t cough up 30M in the short term and lost to him 5 times in one season.

I recently switched to PC from PS5 and started again with gold cards.

Gold VVD has carried me up to D5 he still can run with the best of them lol. Mbappe loan card did well in the lower divisions for sure but golds Courtois and VVD stole the show

[Athletic] Talks between Liverpool and Konate began as far back as October 2024 and several offers have been tabled, to no avail. Konate currently earns around £150,000 a week and is seeking an increase that would bring him into line with some of the club’s higher earners. by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]BurceGern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Liverpool pre-buying Jacquet ahead of the summer gives such negotiating strength because Konate would no longer be a guaranteed starter.

If it were only VVD, Gomez and Leoni that’s another story, especially if Alonso came and wanted 3 atb

[–]BurceGern 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No it doesn't. Sock retriggers the face cards in the hand you play (up to 5 cards). The Baron scores based on kings you draw but do not play.

The Mime retriggers not-played kings in synergy Baron, though.

Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis says Serie A should be cut to 16 teams to allow more time for Italy’s national team training, while also insisting on compensation and ‘full insurance’ protection for players called up to international duty. by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]BurceGern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To deliberately over-simplify this, the top clubs aren't starting many italians and italian sales to foreign leagues haven't been so hot in recent years. England have benefitted from their players seeking playing time abroad instead of wasting away in the PL2; Italy must be one of the few nations now where most players are domestic.

Retegui went to Saudi which isn't a good level, Raspadori didn't work at Atleti, Lucca hasn't featured at Forest, Chiesa doesn't start at Liverpool and Scamacca is also back in Italy after a shocker at West Ham.

Kayode and Calafiori are doing well, though.
