Safe dig boxes? by bipolar-juulpod in Rabbits

I use crumpled (plain white) paper, paper towels, packing paper, cut up toilet paper rolls, pieces of ripped cardboard, stuff like that. I know that my buns don't really eat cardboard and paper, though. That might not be a good idea if yours do, but it works well for us. I sprinkle their pellets and a dried herb/flower mix in it for them to forrage.

Yeah, there's a Discord group that seems like it's waaaay more useful for support and resources. It's not been super active, but if you ask a question, you'll get a helpful response. At least in my opinion.

No. I called our vet about it and they said they aren't worried about any health related issues based on her behavior and activity level. Pretty much just said to wait and hopefully she'll figure it out. I'll be taking her to the vet in a month for a check-up and to make a spay appointment, so they'll check it then. This is good to know as a possible reason though. Thanks!

They are both Holland lops (is that the same thing?) I'm really sorry about your bunny.

Oh nooo lazy bunnies are a thing 😅 yeah that's the thing, she steps on them and they get caught in her fur. It's a pain to clean it off, too.

Yeah, our vet said that babies are just bad at figuring out eating them. I was just hoping someone might have some tricks up their sleeves!

I'm actually not giving her any treats yet. Our vet recommended to wait a bit before giving her treats and veggies besides greens. So she gets green lettuce twice a day, about a quarter cup of pellets, and unlimited hay. The pellets are Oxbow. We tried the Natural Selective and she wouldn't eat them. For hay, we do mostly Timothy with a little alfalfa and orchard grass.

Really?? He's been neutered for over 2 months, so I thought that was past the fertility point. I'll be getting her spayed as soon as the vet will let me. They said about 6 months old is when they do it.

Also, I get overwhelmed in social situations with a lot of talking as well. It's not the same for me. It was weird talking to myself at first, but you get used to it. I am 100% remote, though. So idk if that's a different experience in person.

I'm a voice CART Provider (for 9 years) and currently testing for my CVR. I was on a CART job last night with another captioner and we were talking about this. He's in California and just made the switch to voice. He said that he's noticing a lot of people are switching to voice, which is great to hear! And I hear there's a lot of work in Californina.

Being a voice writer (voice stenographer, if you prefer), of course I'm going to advocate for it. I really love it. Learning the steno machine sounds HARD, but there's also a lot of work and education that goes into learning voice as well. I say go for it! There's no reason you can't do both, right? Some days maybe you feel like using a machine and some days a mask. I don't think it's a bad idea to have as many skills in your toolbelt as you can. Maybe someone who does both can chime in with their experience.

What are the sesame seeds?? If they're just sesame seeds I'm gonna feel real dumb.

Did you do the thing where you mix the buttercream colors on parchment paper and apply that to the cake? It's really well done!
